Decarbing bubble ? ? ?

What would be the best way to decarb bubble ???

Could I dissolove it in cocanut oil and heat to 250F untill the bubbles stop ? ? ? or will that only work with 'oil extracts' or is it the cocanut oil that messes it up ?


I know I could always just do it whole herb, but at the stage of a extract it seems like heat distrubution would be more exact ??

I would break it up and spread it in the bottom of an oven proof dish. cover tightly with foil. Place in cold oven and set temp to 220f. If bubble is from fresh go 25 mins...if older you can go 20. Let cool...decarbed.

Quizo has another way I think...Quizo?

What im realy trying to do is decarb bubble as efficiently as possible , I know the above method works but not very efficiently

I don't see why dissolving in coconut oil and heating to 250 F untill bubbles stops , would not work since the smoke point of coconut oil is 350 F

hopefully Quizo will chime in here...his method would be perfect for you I think. I have been doing the above method for about 3 years now. I use the same method for decarbing everything and have never had a complaint. Not trying to sound arrogant, but my edibles sell out every two weeks :)

What extract do you use on your edibles? Have you tried others?

I use butter, coconut oil, canola oil, milk, peanut butter. I have used bho a couple of times, but I don't make it myself so don't have it to use. It certainly makes hard candy making a breeze ;) I am just too chicken chit to make it.

Nice, so never bubble or qwiso, I'm chicken chit too so I let it evap outside? Then all u use is canna oil and butter? Do u only use high grade for ur extracts or low? How many grams per ml was ur oil? Which is ur favorite from ur edibles? Are all these questions bugging u? Haha bongsmilie

hahaha...you are too funny Smoka :) I think I may have used bubble once? I need quantity over 'quality' so to speak, so I make dry ice hash if I need hash. Well, not just if I need it, I always dry ice my trim/popcorn first then make my oil/butter.

The material I use is pretty good chit :) I am lucky enough to have a friend that had a large grow and have the trim from the trim machine bag to use :) I wouldn't know how to grade any smoke to save my life. If it gets me high, I don't care what grade it is lol :)

Favorites? I love caramels. I have a large variety of cookies I make too...like the WeedRdoodle lol. My fave is probably my Caramel Apple Cookies. I could stand in my kitchen all day and make stuff...just need somewhere for it to go lol

I do sometimes yes. They are made with my canna butter, but if I need to add strength for a patient, I can add the coconut hash oil. Hang on...

mmk...here is the caramel recipe I use. It is Ina Garten's Fluer de Sel Caramels

1 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup water
in a tall sided sauce pan cook above over medium high heat until a dark golden color. Add 1 cup heavy cream
5 Tablespoons canna butter
Be careful as this will bubble up violently, so pan needs to be tall or big enough.
Use a candy/deep fry thermometer and cook to 248f. remove from heat and when bubbling ceases, add 2 Tablespoons of good vanilla (original uses 1/2 tsp...up your flavors and spices to hide canna taste). Be careful again as steam will escape with the bubbles and burn you something terrible...also add 1 tsp of sea salt.

This is where you want to start mixing it very well. It may look like it isn't coming together, but just keep stirring until it is a beautiful golden consistency.

Have either an 8x8 square pan, with plastic wrap lining it then sprayed with no stick, or silicone molds (these are awesome) prepared and ready. If you don't have a candy funnel, pour carefully into the pan or molds and let sit intil firm...a couple of hours.

***If you want to add extra hash oil, you would do it at the point where you add the vanilla and sea salt :)

Fumble, thanks alot brotha, I'll definitely try ur caramels, I like that idea better than my tootsie rolls. I just melted these, added the coco oil from hash, then froze them. They didn't end up as hard as the originals but they were hard enough. They were each a bit over 5g worth of bud.

Into the caramel recipe? that wouldn't work too well I don't think. Not sure how the caramel would come together with that much oil in it. But if you make a good hash oil, you def don't need a half cup
