Ive posted 3 times about this problem and no matter what i do i cant fix it. . Heres the scoop... FlordiaGirl helped me on one of my previous posts because he had the exact same problem using the exact same nutes..... that being Pure Blend Pro grow. Please refer to that post.. good stuff:

https://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/75536-yellowing-leaves.html

Anyways, that was three weeks ago and since then ive given them NO nutes, and flushed them 3 times... the last being a week ago when i also changed the soil to faxfarm ocean mist or something like that. I flushed in my bathtub using tap water, if that matters im not sure. Obviously the problem is not solved. After carefully examining, i thought the leaves look like a zinc overdose.... which doesnt make sense to me because i flushed them and there not getting better. The plants are in soil, 18/6 light cylcle, and im embarrassed to say they are about 3 months old now. Also my book does not say how to treat excess Zinc and at this point i have no idea what to do. I want to look at this from a new perspective since i tried 3 diffrent things over the past 6 weeks and nothing seems to help. Any suggestions? Im willing to try anything at this point because i know if this is not fixed soon i will lose the plants. Ive seen the process.... death starts from the bottom up, blackening the tips of the lower leaves... the leaves then turn yellow and eventually fall off.

Thanks for your help :-?

I would wait until the soil dried out, go to walmart and get soem fish emulsions, and use them strong. Thats what i thik I would try first.

AGAIN, answer the pH question before this goes anywhere.

and next time you want to post a suggestion, explain why so we don't get dumb questions asked.

this is my third time growing and up until now ive never had major problems.. and i never paid attention to pH. I have no idea what the pH is but ill check the soil and my tap water and get back to you guys.

oh man you dont check your PH. I am no expert but that has got to be one of the most important things you can do for your grow medium of choice. You say you never checked your tap water before in other grows, well your water table might have became more acidic or more alkaline. Either way i would put a stack up that if you got your PH in the range of 6-7 in soil preferably 6.5-6.8 then you would experience a huge turn around. What about chlorine and nitrates etc.. do you atleast leave your water sit out for 24 hours to let chlorine evaporate? I use drops in my water to rid it of chlorine and excess metals etc.. like what you would use in a fish tank. Good luck, i would def get that PH right bro.

Hey there... first things first... FloridaGirl is a FEMALE ;)

Next... I did edit my post on that other thread shortly after posting it to indicate that the wrong feeding instructions problem with ProBlend was usually experienced by HYDRO growers not soil.

Now.... seeing your pictures from today... I'd say the dead leaf tips are an indication of a deficiency.

Start feeding the nutes again... only don't start with a full dose (start with 1/2 dose and work your way up). Now here's the kicker.... they won't get better if your PH is off as too high or low a PH will "LOCK OUT" the nutes. My water out of the tap is close to 8... and I'm growing Hydro so that is like death to my plants.

Like the other posters said (and I indicated in my post on your other thread) you MUST know the PH level of your medium (soil). Now soil will tolerate a higher PH (6.5 to 7.0 is optimum for soil).... so if your PH right out of the facet is like mine (around 8 then that would explain the "LOCK OUT".... and why no amount of flushing is helping.... because you are just adding the same PH water that is causing the problem in the first place.

I truly believe your problem is PH. Get that fixed and cut off the leaves with necrosis on the tips so no further energy is wasted on them.

Good luck :D

EDIT: P.S. I'm sorry I didn't offer this when you PM'd me... but I didn't know that you hadn't got your PH level in check :)

yeah once you get that PH in check you will be straight. But still like the last post said don't give too much nutes, b/c my ph is on point in my grow but i still burned my babies by not starting them on low dose. Good luck, and your like me i cant wait for online orders i just hit up the hydro shop. Thank God we have one right:-)
