Day is night; night is day

My utility company is getting ready to revise it's rates now that the new smart meters are installed. I may want to switch my flowering plants and light them by night instead of day. I was going to shift their timer an hour or so a day until they're reversed. I have a perpetual harvest setup, so there's no good time to switch. Anybody done this before? Any suggestions?

Just skip a day. 12 hours on, 24 hours off, 12 hours on and go with the new schedule. You really won't hurt anything. Just tell yourself it was a really dark and cloudy day in nature.

Yeah, as long as you wait longer than the needed 12 hours of darkness needed you ccan restart any time after that. I've done it multiple times with zero ill effects
