day 56, no signs of preflowers yet

just wondering about when I should be able to see preflowers on my plants? Last grow I could swear that by day 56 from germination that there were very visible preflowers. rather than clone for sex, I prefer to just wait and trash any males, so I have more room for clones. Any ideas? I'm on a 24/0 fluoro light schedule and using rockwool/hydroclay hydroponic system. Thanks!

Turn your schedule to 18/6 some dark time in veg should help you sex before you put them to flower.

yeah, i use soil, but mine took about 2.5 weeks into 12/12 to show signs of sex ... idt the plant will show any signs if ur under 24/0

Mine didn't show any flowers till one week into Flowering (12/12). If you want to clone, after you sex them in flowering put the mother back into veg for the rest of her life. She will resort back to veg after a couple weeks.

weird thing is that my last grow (which was really just to experiment through the veg phase, since I had to leave for 2 weeks) I had preflowers showing to the naked eye around week 8 from germination. it's all just bagseed that I'm using, so I don't really know the strain. And that time, I was also doing a 24/0 light schedule with t-5 fluoro's
