I topped her at age 5th set of leafs I almost didnt and waited so long because this is my first attempt. but I was talked into it by a few pros on this very forum and also went though 2 transplants. after the first one I tried to LST her about 3 4 days after first topping and the soil hadnt well mixed yet and the pulling on her made her lay flat down (bc the pulling downward on her made the solo cup worth of soil that was dry raise up a little over the other soil i had trannied her into. so i just left alone and flushed it for a good watering wich later iv learned to LOVE ever since iv been topping the shit out of her and LSTing almost everything that moved. Now my goal is trying to get the canopy even but im in 1k of flowering. Should i gently just LST to the point its a even layer or im guessing no but super vrop the bitch at those 2 "main colas" growing a lil faster than the rest or just simply leave her be.

just gave her her first dose of MG big bloom (went to a walmart supercenter in AZ THOUGHT id get FF big bloom but didnt see a single FF product w/e i got mg ppl hate on the soil n look what its done so far so i figured fuck it. i gave it a half 2 3/4 dose of feeding strength bc with MGPS i wasnt sure if to early n nute burn heri was trying start wait for a lil yellowing b4 i added nutes but decided f it id try a light dose n see how she reacted. that was 48 hours ago and she needed water bad today she told me so! (i love my plant talking to me) now usually i know you alternate plain water n feed but decided she loved the first half dose so much id let her have a 50% strength of the 50% strength water that was left over in spray bottle from first feed. Should i feed again next watering about 48 hours im guessing I like to let her dry good b4 water bc im so so so scared of over watering n killing her or root rot the bitch.

I top and lst and get results similar to yours, check out my current grow. I just keep pulling them out even up till 3rd week of flower til I get them as far as they are going to go. For example that 4th pic in the 1st set I'd now move the tie closer to the tip maybe 3-4" and pull it down more. And just keep doing that all around the plant.

It looks like that would be a pain in the ass with a ceramic pot, tape and twine. Much easier is a plastic pot with holes drilled around the rim, tying down with garden tie wire. It's super easy to put on and later adjust as needed. I probably go over each pot 6-7 times over a few weeks tying them down and adjusting. I just do it every watering.

Be aware that as you get into flower the stems get less supple and are easier to break if you're not careful. After they have been tied down a couple weeks and the stretch stops you can take them off, the stems have pretty much grown permanently into that shape.

and yea this project was started out as a I wonder if with NOTHING and haveing not a dollar to my name if i can do anything and then started working for 500 a week so next set up im going to be gtg i think. I seen a air vent aluminum tube cut in half being used as a reflector haha brilliant n cheap. is that a no no or as good as it on first appearance seems. I live in a medical state so aquiring a reflector is significantly better than cheap ass vent tubing vut in half let me know or cheap options like roll mylae n cardboard was another idea I had

As far as I am concerned pullin em out and tying em down is lst. When I'm doing it my objective it to get them topped and stretched out and tied out just far enough that they completely fill my growspace / light footprint. I think I accomplished that well this grow and last. I honestly think the results are very comparable to the SCROG method

Happy NY - AIM

EDIT Forgot to answer your question directly. Yes I'd keep tying them down till they were as wide as I wanted them to be.

Not sure what you are asking, but even tying your 3 week "colas" over, they are still slowly increasing in length and will soon be pointing straight up again, I promise. Your colas might end up with gentle sweeping bends in them, but it'll all look the same in the jar.
