IMG_2371.JPG I'm running with the usual set up and the plants doin fine. I'm on day 40 and I transplanted for the second time last Tuesday into a 4 gal from a 1.75 gal.( weeks in a half ago) Today I have seen some roots possibly coming out of the bottom and I still have weeks of flowering left... should I up pot to a 6-7 gal or is it to early? Wana give it time to get use to pot before flower..

Leave it in the 4 gal pot let her finish what she needs to .roots will come to the drain hols it's normal but they either turn back in or the root end stops there Wat ever does come out will only die off but the rest of the root from it inside will be fine and not bother growth at all .just leave her n let her go

if your planning to switch to flower soon , I would replant into a bigger size pot . the root zone will need that extra room to finish out . its always best to change pot size before flowering

Yes she will be totally fin . Just couple days she will bounce right back don't look like no damage or burn
Wasn't much damage just a whole branch was off like completely no chance for re attachment. I guess it's a clone now...image.jpg #babyandmom

I start in a cup, to a one gallon bag to a five gallon pail then flower. I've grown in 20, 30, and 55 gallon drums too.
I dont recall even one plant in any of those sizes that didnt have roots flowing out the bottom holes and twirled around the container a hundred times, in veg, at transplant, at flower, at harvest. I can flower in the cup, the gallon bag, the five pail or the 55 drum....same results, just bigger plant, less watering. At harvest my dirt plugs are intact one piece and completely entangle with roots, they have to be dried and crushed to come apart. dont buy into the hype.

root bound for the win

It'll be fine . Think of in the wild when a deer or such passes through and tramples some eats some they still go on to flurish
Word I just didn't want it to die... I assume it will just grow more stems to it? I just will have to veg it out longer...

It's been in veg now for like 42 days, I was planning to do it at Day 50 but with what happen I guess I'll veg it for a couple more days. I plan on putting her in a 6-7 gal tomorrow I think.. I transplanted it about 11 days ago into the 4 gal it's in now.. I just want get most for the yield haha. The branch that broke off is in water wh seaweed extract and looks like it's doin fine it hasn't shown any signs of wilting...

Tbh I'd leave it I the 4 gallon pots .potting 11 days ago and then going to re pot again before flower I don't think it's gonna be good.. before flower 4 gallon is a good size

Interseing, even if I wait longer till flowering? Like repot then wait till like day 55-60 and then go into flower? will the 4 gal be enough to go the whole process and get a good yield?IMG_2382.JPG Just went home to see her she looks good so far from what happen.

Yeah she is really bushy not so much tall maybe about 8-9 in a little more.. I can see some roots coming out the bottom that's why I wanted to replant it, I figure 8-9 weeks in flower plus another 12-14 days rest of veg the roots will be packed into a small 4 gal if I don't transplant now. And I plan on continue using cfl and change bulbs to 2700k 23 watt instead of 6000 ... I got 14 of the 14 2 of them are 40 watt plus a full spec 45 watt grow light
