Day 38 flower, small popcorn buds

Hello RIU,

I'm day 38 into flowering and 3 of my 4 clones still have very small scattered popcorn nugs. This is 38 days from the 12/12 flip. Wondering if I stunted the growth earlier in their life cycle or I'm just not bein patient. The 3 clones I bought from my local dispensary here in CA were "supposedly" Girl Scout Cookies, Gorilla Glue #4, Grandaddy Purple..

I'm using:
FF Ocean Forest
Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow/Bloom A+B (Hobbyist Line)
600w HPS

I did have to flush a few weeks ago, had 1 bad water where the pH went around 5.0 but it didn't seem to effect my 4th clone Purple Widow.

I'm far from an expert but I think 3 gallons with a 5 week veg your asking for them to be root bound. Someone with more experience will tell you better but it sounds to me like you should be in 5 gallons

Damn so pretty much I'm fucked if I did get root bound? Too late to transplant again? I feel like it would be a waste of transplant materials in general with only about 4 weeks left..

Well I'm only continuing to learn new shit each and every grow. Never vegged so long but I was hoping with the longer veg and more topping and super cropping I would harvest about a pound but I'm going to be fighting to get a half pound now

I wouldn't count it out yet. Can you get a look at one of the bottom of the roots to see? Like I said I'm new so I can't tell you if it will help but my opinion is it would be a good idea to pot up. Any way you could cut the bottom of the pot off and set it in a new one? Just a thought...
