Looks pretty good to me. Must be a slow grower. Im on day 33 and i have some fat colas going already. What are you feeding them?

I wouldnt worry bout the bottom leaf. ITs send all the nutes up to the top so bottom is last to see it. my 4 girls and dropping lower leaves daily. once they are easy to pluck i just remove them since there isnt enough light to them.

Yours will start to fatten up real soon. Maybe bump your feeding up a tad too.

did you feed full strength on the last feeding? looks a little over nuted... nitrogen id say
dont flush just make sure you use 1/3 strength nutes and remember its better to add more feedings of lower strength than to just feed them heavily and then try and flush to fix the problem huge swings in pH and nutes to no nutes really shocks the plants and will diminish your yields.

yeah that and how tall was the plant when you flipped? its very short and doesnt look like it stretched much. mine stretched between 10-16" on each of them. pushing from 15" up to 40" tall now during flowering. May just be one of the ones that takes longer.

I think I may have stunted the growth a bit by pulling a few fan leaves. Hopefully those fat colas will start forming soon

I switched after about 2 and a half weeks. It was about 8" tall when I switched

What kind of light is it? It should be much closer. my HPS in a cooltube without venting the tube is only 10-12" away and steady 73*.

CFLs can get very close, HPS/MH need about 10-14" pending heat.

Id expect it to stretch a bit more hopefully. I vegged 4 weeks so thats why you are a bit smaller.

Keep up the work tho. looks good and healthy green. i wouldnt worry bout lower stuff. i had same thing. mine are still shedding leaves. i ended up trimming lower stuff that kept dying due to low light.

Let us know what plant nutes you have as well. Im not sure about the guy saying do 1/3 strength. Im using Botanicare bloom and FF Tiger bloom at full recommended strength with zero over feeding problems. Mine we taking a feeding every watering with Botanicare. Now i switched to Tiger Bloom at week 5 to promote bud sites, and feed every other watering, per instructions now with a higher PK feeding.

I'm using the fox farm trio and I'm just starting 1/2 strength

Sounds good. Id say you could easily bump that up by now. Im on week 6 of flowering going full strength and these suckers are drinking hard. watering every other day. Just follow bottles instructions. If it says feed every other water, then surely do that. Keep us posted with some pics too but, like BF said that light coming lower will drastically give you some improvements.

For sure mine just took off finally in week 5. Now its visually growing each day which is awesome!

That light will be beneficial. I dont think you mentioned what your light setup is tho.

CFLs = get them very close. i had mine within 2 inches during veg. and a fan blowing across the bulbs an top of plants. she'll start to stretch out more too once the budsget going.

Ah yeah stupid me just saw your first post says that. Im running a 400 as well. Get that down to like 10-12" its gonna make a world of difference. get a fan to blow between top of plants and light. as long as you can keep your hand under the light in a certian distance, then the plants will be okay too.

heres mine at day 40 today, to give you an idea. 1st pic is about 14" away, my shortest plant 2nd pic - that cola is prolly 6 inch away but its so tall its off to the side of the HPS but still under it

image.jpg Here is day 43 by comparison. This is with t5, 40w cfl and 90w led. About day 35 is when they started to fatten up. I use FF tiger bloom, and big bloom per the ff feeding schedule. Seems to be working pretty well. Today is day 47 and they have fattened even more. Your plant looks good, just has a long way to go. Get the light as close as possible.

Ah I would love to see mine get like that. I just would like to at least get a dry oz off it to make it worth while.

that should be no problem id hope with that light.

My 1 largest 3gallon is easily over an oz now. Im hoping for 4oz total off the 4 plants, and thats not even .5g/watt. With good technique and setup people are getting up to 1g/watt.
