sorry man, its a male. you should chop it down if youve got females growing. you dont want to pollinate the female or youll get seeds in your bud.

I'm no expert, but I believe that they start to show sex when they're 4-5 weeks old. Once you know what your looking for it's really easy to distinguish them. The sacs or balls are and eyesoar once you recognize them.

my plant is only 8" can i tell if it is male or female yet?

You REALLY cant tell sex unless you put it into 12/12 and flower. I mean, im sure there are other telltale signs, but i dont know of any personally. Some people say that you can tell males by how far apart the nodes are, n some people say that the number of "budsites" can determine sex for you, but the only surefire way to tell is to let them fuckers flower, n see if some balls grow.

you gotta be careful though when your lookin for the balls, cuz sometimes people mis-identify some forming branches and mistake them for nuts. If your not 100% sure about the sex, and you think you see balls, 1st- make sure there is more than one ball, they always grow in clusters, and sometimes its two, but if you let them go for a little bit longer itll turn into alot more. 2nd- you should let them go a little longer reguardless, because those mistakes are commonly made, and besides, letting a male plant chill for a couple extra days wont hurt shit. They wont start really producing pollen until the male sacs are fully formed (or a Hardon, if you will). At least this is what ive read. I pulled mine as soon as i saw multiple little bumps on my innernodes, at the exact same time that my girls showed their pussies.
