Is that light one of the all in one models with the ballast in the hood? If so did you go with the digital model or the magnetic ballast? The guy at the local store can't answer questions about heat output or need for fans. Just kind of curious as I'm considering that same light.

It a digital all in one HPS/ Mh conversion and it's depends on where your grow is I bought the fan but I'm not using it at the moment

Got a little boron def. or chemical burn "since I added another 1/4 nutes last night (at 3/4 max)" today I noticed it so I got some cal-mag and add accordingly (25ml to 5g)

I'm in a 3x3 closet that's got a really high ceiling. I don't think heat's going to be an issue, but I figured I'd ask.

I purchased a 250w sunleaves switchable mini the other day. I would have went with the 400 but thought it might get too hot. my closet is about 6' high, 5' wide and 2' deep and if I close the door it gets up to a good 90º in there, it could have climbed higher in the 90s but I just decided to keep the door cracked and temps have been mid-80s perfect.

Thanks for starting this journal, I will subscribe I am on the hunt for 250w grows. Is there a 250w group - if not its about time for one.

from day one to day two your growth is obvious way to grow!

Since all the adjustments I made like, lowering Ph, flushing Resi, backing off on nutes, added cal-mag, got a humidifier and made these funny looking things to protect my water from warming up from the light, things are looking a lot better, thanks hope it helps ... Also get the book "Closet Cultivator" by Ed Rosenthal, tons of knowledge in there

It's my first grow. It's a book that has been helping me but I've had it for a while, I figured I could read that book forever but the thing wasn't going to grow my weed

LMAO I'm doing the advanced nutrients sensi grow but not following the A.N. Calculator it's pretty rough on the plants kinda burned one up a bit I've never tried others because this is my first but I was a pool man for a couple years so I can read my meters just keep an eye on them if you do switch to A.N.

Yeah for sure...It all depends on the pricing for the nutes tho when its time to get some.I might even go with gh flora nova ive seen good results from that in soil but if the money is right i will get top of the line nutes.Maybe even do a test with them compared to the cheap nutes and see a difference.
