Sorry to hear about Lusinda. You fought hard to keep her going, glad you were able to get some cookies out of all that hard work.

You notice any difference between the RW and SGS? I Just bought a SGS an love how white the color of light is.

They're pretty similar, so I don't notice any difference. (I'm colorblind though.) Have you turned on the red LEDs yet? That gives it lots of red.

I followed The Dawg's method of turning on the red LEDs about 2-3 weeks into veg. The plants did really well in veg.

I don't like to give up until I have to... This is a new closet and I never tried to grow more than one plant before, so I'm still getting used to the extra work required, too. I have some ideas to avoid these problems next time around. At least my "backup plants", Tabitha & Libby, are still holding on. I see a little blue on top of the Perlite, though, so I'm watching out for root rot again. I'm flushing the Perlite & res with concentrated h2o2 added at about 5 ml/gallon. I'll spray the top of the Perlite with Neem oil tonight. Next time around I'm going to cover the Perlite with plastic more thoroughly when the plants are still small, to keep light out of it.

Hi that's a lot of stuff to do. I like to be a simple maintenance kina guy, good dirt,GO BOX and good genetics. But always eye the water methods then wondering why I would want all that water when I almost have a heart attack every time I spill a little bit in my.lol

Just my .02 great thread thanks for the cool story Cheer's

Quietly chuckling in of course a very politically correct way

I've been tempted to just use hempy buckets with Perlite & coco fiber, but I keep getting drawn back to hydro. I want to get huge yields like The Dawg and Flowamasta get.

The work won't be as bad as it sounds. It' all in preparation before you start growing.

True, size is possible in dirt just a lot slower. Hempy setups rock for sure. And you already have great lights. Stay up grower, nice chatting.

I can’t recommend this Chinese tri meter:

It worked for about a week or two, but the pH meter went whacky after that and read “1” all the time. So I returned it for a refund.
