Nice looking RO system, Dave
I love my RO filter and couldn't grow without it.
Great looking grow, as usual, can't wait to see them bloom.

Thanks, Karma. I'm trying to avoid the problems I had in my previous grow and so far the plants are looking really healthy.

Yeah, it is SO nice to have all the water I need right at home, rather than having to go out and buy bulk RO water. That's what I did for 4 years. No more! I found out it's especially important when you grow more than one plant at a time.

They look great

Thanks man... and welcome to my thread!

I'm really happy with these plants now, the way they're growing. It's nice to have 2 Area 51 panels next to each other shining down on my little girls. These 2 lights fit perfectly in my closet together. I think I'm noticing better vegetative growth with the LED panels at full power than in my previous grow, when I veg'ed with only the white lights turned on.

Nice looking branches & roots there, Deus. I never heard of a plasma light. Is that some kind of special fluorescent or something? It's awesome how efficient plant lighting has become lately, so that you can grow in a 4 x 4 with only 230 watts!

That airstone of yours looks like it makes a lot of tiny bubbles. Looks better than mine. Do you know where I can buy a couple of those? If not, do you know who makes them at least?

Thanks for the info, Deus! I'll have to get a couple of those air diffusers. That plasma light sounds interesting... I'll have to read up on it.

Ok, I appreciate the pics too, but please hold off on them now. Too many can confuse people who just jump in on this thread. ("I didn't know that Dave was growing peas?" :-? ) lol!

Mom & girls (adopted, no relation) today:

Lusinda’s in need of a haircut. Gotta tie down some branches, too.

———————
The girls are getting beefy:

I might need another fan to blow at them because Lusinda’s blocking the wind.

Gave Lusinda a haircut today. Ain’t she pretty?

There were a lot of inner branches and leaves that didn’t look too good, probably from a lack of light, so I cut them out. Also some big fan leaves that weren’t getting much light anymore. Tied down some branches, too, to try to make an even canopy. She’s spread out pretty good now, so I might leave her alone for a while.

Here’s the stuff that got trimmed off:

Here are the 2 toddlers today:

———————————————
I added more nutes to each res today as well, since they all ate like pigs since I fed them a few days ago! Went ahead and added 15 ml of Final Phase to Lusinda’s res, along with 10 ml each of Sensi Grow A&B and B52 — to both reservoirs.

Hey davo looks like your kickin ass there bro I'm really impressed with what your doin there!

Also man I found out my problems I was having over here ! My res temps were 18c so I put a heater in the res and bumped it up to 22c which made a huge difference also I tried using distilled water which was 0.0 ec = awesome so I flushed the system out and the medium with flora Kleen and started over used my distilled water phd it to 5.5 and got my nutes to 1.2 and it's loving it!!!! The plants about 5 weeks old now the root ball is massive but the plant not so much so I'll up the nutes and do a res change tomorrow . I'm see you just got an r/o system I'm actually looking to get one my self to keep it all runnin smooth as

Sounds like it's going great. I always like to flush overnight before a water change to get the crud out. Then they seem so hungry for nutes afterward... I think it's good for them. Easy on the nute increase... I'm sure you know that already though.

Oh Hell Yea Brother Roller.Everything Is Looking Very Groovey :weed:

You might not remember this, but in my last grow I had a lot of thick foliage on the outside and lots of underdeveloped, light green branches & leaves inside the bush. That's why I'm defoliating a lot and stretching out the branches to open it up to the light.

Here are some of the leaves that looked sickly that I was talking about. I left these ones to see if they might get better:

They had been deep inside the plant where they weren’t getting any light. I pruned off most of the other branches like this.

———————————————————
I also added a 19 watt Cree LED bulb today, to try to light up Lusinda’s underbrush:

———————————————————
Lusinda turned her leaves to the light panel today, so she looks purdier than she did yesterday:

All 3 plants are sucking in the nutes like crazy.

It’s been over 2 months since Lusinda came into this world as a popped seed in a paper towel. May 16 was her birthday. I think it’s time for my little girls to flower into maturity……. i.e., it’s time to flip to 12/12.

➥ Tomorrow & Saturday I’ll change the water and give them nutes for flowering. Then I’ll set the timer to 12 on/12 off.

Lusinda’s filled out nicely with a fairly even canopy.

——————————————————
The next 3 photos are of the younger girls. Their vegetative growth is coming along better than I expected:

Their leaves are pretty big now and they’re really sucking up the nutes. I might get something out of them after all.
