Screens : Dual 4x4 Screens, with an 8x4 Secondary Supporting screen on Top

Currently vegging at 8 weeks now. Opinions, comments, and questions all welcome.

How long you planning on veggin' them? nice set up man +rep

I got the same question - how long are your going to veg. Looks like your got a lot of room on your screen to fill.

Thanks for stopping by guys! I definitely underestimated the veg for these one plant monsters at this rate I'll need another six Weeks before I flip to flower. The Fuller plant is Tahoe OG and the smaller is ”orgasmic og” from a local clinic.

Good looking plants, but I agree - looks like a slow grower !
And I saw where the flower time for Tahoe OG can be 10 weeks!!

You got a big grow area and a big screen. You don't have to fill it up before you flip the lights.

How cold is that cement? Cold that be slowing them down?

I know when I stand on cold cement for long periods of time, that shit just robs the heat right through your damn shoes.

pieces of wood on the bottom would act as a insulator. no worries of making a mess of them either.

Nice looking scrog set up as well man.

I'm thinking your going to be needing some bigger pots as well. two plants and that size screen you need some decent size plants to veg nevermind in flower you want a lot of room for them roots to explode and give you some nice flowers.

Lay some layered paper under the pots they'll stay warm. Can't wait til i get to do my first SCROG on my own

If that floor is pretty cold, then yeah get some sort of insulator under them, your root zone is probably crazy cool. Wood is nice, gets warm from the lights and generally holds enough heat to comabt a cold floor.

Try some 2 inch styrofoam under those pots. And I agree, there is definitely something wrong if these are the results of an 8 week veg, under 1k's.

Also, make sure your water is no too cold. A fish tank heater will keep it properly warmed.

The leaves just look so curly, and the growth is just so slow. I am guessing the 5 gallon pot has done them in. Perhaps the concrete floor and the cold temperatures. I checked the highs which were at 68 degrees, the lows were 61. Not sure if this would cause the growth to be so slow, but I am definitely upset with this run. I decided to place both plants under one screen, and flower it off. I want to get everything dialed in next run. Any opinions on what else may be going wrong? I will include a picture of both of the plants under one light before the stunted growth started. I only monitor my PH when I first change my reservoir so PH could be a problem as well... I want to dial everything in and come back for success!

More plants next round? I want these one plant monsters to work, but now I am optimistic.

What do you mean by the 5 gal pots you think did them in ? With 5 gal pot's you can grow tree's. Someone said 10gal pots and I think that is a little to much for inside.

Also may have a some issues when you go to pull the buds through those tight squares. lol. A tight net is nice for training but not for the buds. I would train with it and raise it as you go to that next screen i see and two weeks into flower after there done stretching take it out and the big net will be fine for support.

As for the plant's they same green and healthy. There's really not to much as why they wouldn't grow.

Do you check your run off ph after your done watering them ?

I really like that screen though, I keep saying I'll do that one day but its never happened yet lol so fair play you went and built that thing.

Unfortunately if a plant is suffering in vegg things will be 10 times worse in flowering. No exaggeration. Getting nice green leaves in vegg is 10 times easier than in flowering so if things are already wrong in vegg those plants will look like they've been in a house fire by the time they're done.

I reckon a water heater would improve things. As to what is wrong with the leaves, thats hard enough for me to figure out on my own plants. First thing to do is check your ph. Otherwise I would tip on slight mg deficiency but could be a lot of things. Your leaves have a dark vein with yellowing on the outside of the leaf. It's quite noticeable on your lower leaves. Thats a sign of things going wrong

Do you know what ppm and ph your nutrient solution is at?

Yeah I think the PH is off. I use the little tester, and can only test PH before putting in nutrients. I need to get a meter. I was trying to make a dollar out of a dime this run.
