they are clones, vegged for 3 weeks, 2 weeks to root 1 week in that bucket cause I topped the taller one so they would be even. I like to give them a week after I cut anything from them before flowering them. they have been in 12 and 12 for like 2 weeks though, 5 weeks old total, should be done in 5 more weeks :) . I just put them in there because I have to get at least a half zip from a bucket for me to think it is worth taking care of it, so I put two small ones in there and flowered them earlier so I can get some buds to smoke. The bigger one only had 5 days more veg though, big difference.

I only want one cola really, and I just cant bring myself to cut all those branches off. The tall ones that already look like single colas are from growing them under t-5's its like flouro's dont provide enough light for anything but the top node, so they grow up like bean poles. I like that, too bad they grow so slow under them also. I with would almost have to cut off every branch to get it, the skunk is so short and bushy normally. I have had one nice spear from the skunk though, so I know I can do it successfully. ill figure it all out sooner or later

your rite,,youll get the same weight as multi branched unless your doun a blue strain, itherwise more potenet single heavy cola thaan a few smaller buds, prob. less potent.

yeah, and my favorite thing about single colas is the freakishly large calyx's. just like the leaves, the less nodes the bigger they are. I love those huge swollen flowers, where you can count them in your bowl. Still slowly adding more and more epsom salt into the nutes to work out the rust spots and twisted leaves. adding slow and steady is what its all about. I put 3/4 a tsp into each gal. now.

Here is some shots of the bigger one, I took the bottom 4 branches off when I made the switch, but I should of taken them all off.

I am stoked about this single cola out of the 2 in one, the topped on seemed to branch out even more from being topped.

I made some other things into hempy to fill in any space I have, I like any cylinder like these

clone in soil, that I reuse cause I shake it off the roots before putting it into the hempy. (I have no money ever) 2 600 watt hps is my lights. They are in a 4x4 room though, so thats like 75 watts per sq ft I think, which kicks ass. I have way too big of an exhaust fan also so they can be really close to the girls. I sometimes have my head pushed against my cooltube without knowing. They are cooler than my t-5's are.
usually my clones are only 1 or 2 nodes under ground and the shoot on top.

I started my super lemon haze in the hempy and it took like 3 days to hit the resevoir. I take the clones out of the dirt once they start looking light green, meaning they want nutrients, meaning they have decent roots. I can usually get the bottom of the roots into the res when transplanting so they are already in it.

I water everyone every day though, I just pour some in to keep them heavy, they never dry out all the way. If they are big I pour it on the side of the containers so the perlite around their root masses doesnt really get wet. Keeps them from being over watered. On the other hand; if they are a little plant like the new clones I put in there I pour the water right under them to make sure they are getting water if they are not in the res. Thanks for the interest bro, but some of your ?'s are answered in the post you copied on mistake.

just made room for my t-5's for clones to root under. I know its ghetto but I have no choice. My drill bit broke, I dont talk to anybody so I cant borrow one and I have 0 dollars still. I think they cost more than that. haha
I thought the material I put up would block the light cause I doubled it over, but some still shines through so It's not actually finished. Just kinda a rough draft I guess. I busted out the thermometer to check things out. 85 in my hottest spot under the hps and 80 in the new veg spot. Should be good.

pic of the setup, old 5 gallon's holdin them up.

added a fan to move air around n exhaust what it can.

hung up material to block light not that well though

made sure I can reach inside still

closed doors to see how it looks, still shining through

and temps of course.

Yeah t-5's. I have been using my extra space under my hps's cause they grow so much faster under 1200 watts, but about to fill that bitch up and need a seperate room for clones. Its up to 87 degrees though. I know clones like it warmer but I dunno... I'll see what happens

I found another set of sheets I forgot about and hung that up too, so light doesnt shine through anymore. Ill put some clones into there tomorrow and see how they do.

dankmango The pots which are filled with perlite, how often do you need to water them as it doent hold water?

its watered by me, I keep 5 different nutrient mixtures in gallon containers in my fridge, they like it cold and sometimes I get some purple flowers from it. I keep track of who needs what nutrients by marking slashes on the buckets so I know what day they are one.

Here's what Ive been up to this morning.

1st- skunk 1 clones, most are rooted already, some are only a few days old.

2-super lemon haze clones, none are rooted yet.

3- Shot of the whole room organized in a rotation that they finish in. 1st one to finish is on the right, last one to finish on the left. (lights stay on here for 18 hours, flowering ones are pulled out after 12 and put into dark room.)

4-girls that are in 12 n 12 now.

5-Super lemon haze that donated all the clones and will be flowered in 3-5 more days.

6- what I have been smokin, she is in pics a few pages back, pulled out at day 35 for my medicine (I went out and tried to buy a bag, and dude tried to rob me and shot a hole in my car as I drove off. I think Ill cut some early instead of dealing with that.)

7- my catnip is lookin better and loves hempy too. smells stronger and my cat loves it way more now, keeps her at bay from the real good that is growin.

I am still goin for 2 times what is in that room, and running the hps for 24 hours with 2 sets of flowering girls in it every day.

I like soil a lot, makes really tasty buds. and Usually more colorful buds too (only my experience). but hempy is so easy, I wouldnt be able to do all this in soil. I would be pissed off and have a hurtin back from watering so slowly to make sure its even. I dont like cleaning up dirt either, and the big perlite I just pick it up or vacuum it and it doesnt leave dirt stains on my carpet. and the perlite is heavy enough to not get blown around by the fan so I dont get shit in my eyes when i work in there

heres what I was talkin bout with my nutes. if the container has as many slashes as the gallon of water it gets that one, if it has more slashes it moves onto the next set of nutes.
I have 2 gallons of last 4 week nutes cause i will need more of that than any others. (Vegetables is my secret code for vegative nutrients haha)

then there is a shot of my nutrients next to the girls to show size.

every morning when i pull them out of the dark I just hit them up with a marker to keep on top of things. I was having a real hard time having so many girls wanting different nutrients so I do this. I have a 5 gallon container of RO, ultraviolet cleansed water that I make these out of so I can fit it in the fridge, if anyone else is doin hempy try puttin your water in the fridge. the girls love it. or even soil, I have always kept my water cold. brings out some purp sometimes.
