Agree, your garden is looking good. On your nutes, are you just using tea's when vegging any other sources of nitrogen? Is that the liguid gravity, son uses that and sweet and heavy when flowering, have yet to try it myself but did like some of his product's taste.

I've using teas and this product which I've found to be very effective. For a true pure biological, I find that it's really fast acting and highly effective.

I was mixed up when I said gravity. I was talking about Bushmaster. http://www.horticulturesource.com/product_info.php?products_id=231

Just something to slow vertical growth. I'm doing extensive training now. Hopefully that's enough but I don't think it will. I bent the top branches on a few plants down about a foot. The result was new tops shooting up and the plant is still 7' tall even with the bent branches.

Nice grow you got going on Dan.

I'd personally shy away from any chemical plant growth regulator (PacloButrazol or chlormequat chloride) . Stick with constant topping and bending. Setup a trellis to continually bend the branches back over, almost weaving them in. Just some ideas. Definitely sub'd and look forward to your grow! :peace:

Yea I used rope last year but this year I built a screen in my little greenhouse.
Went all around the sides then gonna have a couple on casters to slide down the center.

I let them grow through then tie back to the screen and clean up any lower stuff.

awesome outdoor grow Dan! What kind of yield are you expecting out of the 100 gallon smart pots? I only ask because I have someone growing outdoors for me currently in a 125 smart pot and since this is my first time with outdoors I'm kinda curious to know what I can expect....+REP!

TBH I have no idea. I'm pretty confident that both the pineapple expresses, 2 of the lemon thai kushes, the grapefruit, 2 of the trainwrecks, and probably the big bubbakush x OTM will all be multiple pound plants. The rest should be at least half pound plants, likely more if all goes well. That's based on if they started to flower tomorrow, so likely it will be more.

If I had no bud rot issues (which is extremely unlikely) I'm confident I'd get 20+ lbs, 30+ wouldn't be out of the questions. I think it's unlikely I'll yield anything close to that in reality though.

Growing huge plants with huge root structures in soil with the proper amount of nitrogen. That simple.

How long did you veg for and under what lights?

Thanks
Started vegging beginning of April. Put them directly under the sun after germination. No artificial light at any point. That's how I can put them out so early without them flowering. You lose a lot of seedlings doing it that way, but I don't care about that.

Thats crazy! I did the samething, but im using a 3 gallon pot! So I dont think ill grow trees like that.

I hope to one day grow trees like that to have an endless supply of cannabis!

Thanks captain

Anyone can do it. All you really need is bigger containers and decent soil.

Just had a meeting with the city planning department regarding my collective, kinda wore me out. Drinking coffee now. If I get the energy I'll go take pics otherwise tomorrow.

That' the way I do it also, stronger genes will survive. .
Had one plant lose most of it's bottom branches due to this last storm, she won't be used for seed. Of the 4 plants from same seed run, she showed sex first was the second largest but not strong enough to withstand a minor rain storm. Were I to have had her in a greenhouse, may have used her for next years seed? Have a backup Kush in 20 gallon pot that will enjoy the box.

Sorry for the lack of pics. My days have been busy recently. I'll try and take better ones next week.

Those 100g smart pots are starting to look small compared to the plants in them. I'm now understanding the need for 200g smart pots. Although with the space I have, I really can't get much bigger plants.

Pineapple express -
IMG_0629.jpgIMG_0626.jpg

pineapple express is fucking great bud, but kind of labor intensive. You have to support ever single nug basically. Imagine a really bushy OG kush plant with really dense heavy buds but with tiny branches and stems made of jello. That's kinda what pineapple express is like. A really branchy plant with dense nugs being held up by the weakest branches ever. It's way worth it though.
