Welcome aboard dude scotland says hi, this site has now taken over my life LOL, when you get your own place and start to grow, follow rule number 1----TELL NO ONE, my best friend told his chick they fell out she stuck him in to the cops, thats a lesson, you never know what will happen protect your crop at all times.

thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

so i moved to northern minnesota and got my own place, and was thinking of putting some seedlings that i've got started outside and just letting nature take it's course. the problem is is that it's already july, i've missed half the growing season.

should i bother trying to put them outside, or just keep them indoor? the days up here are very very long the further you get in to august, is there anyone that can shed some light on this? (no pun intended)

Welcome aboard man and I agree this site is really informative. I'm most of the way through my first grow and I find myself in here everyday. Anyway man what you can do is start some beans inside and let em veg for a month or two then put em outside.

Count me in too. I finally joined the rollitup community, after scouring the pages here for a couple months - while getting my new grow dialed in.

Putting a thanks out to all the helpful folks here.

As far as growing outdoors in the mid west, I think it's a little late in the season now. It's best to start indoors, and transplant in the spring, for an extended growing season.

Indoors is better anyways IMO; No bugs, no heat waves, no cops, no cold cloudy rainy days.

If you've got seeds to spare, why the fuck not just leave them outside? You'll most likely get a better yield than if you put them inside under some CFLs. Just make sure they get direct light. Plants are good about doing their own thing.

Edit: Oh yeah, and welcome to the forums! Don't forget to use the live chat service to talk with fellow growers!
