Damaged leaves

My question is people's opinion on trimming away damaged leaves whether it be from heat stress or nute burn or even pests? Any advice?

It depends on how damaged the leave is. If you feel it's taking to much energy from the plant to heal then get rid of it. But you don't want to take to many at a time.

usually ill just give them a lite tug if it falls off oh well if it doesnt ill leave it

damaged leafs will ask the plant to use its energy to repair it . when its better off just making new growth or bigger buds .

Why are your leaves currently becoming necrotic?

I choose option 3, 'it depends...' (on stage the plant is in, amount of green on leaf left, whether the problem has been solved, location of the leaves in question, etc, etc). It's too general, if you're looking for advice for a specific situation post some more info about your setup and include some pics.

I think I have the group dynamics figured out. Fitting in with the group, the "everyone does it" comfort zone so prevalent in cannabis forums takes precedence over botanical common sense. Well I have some calcium def with slight heat stess but outdoor I have some seedling that had bad heat stress with the recent heat wave. One of the seedlings thrived while 2 of the same strain (black domina) had lower leaves shrivel and turn brownish and canoe and all that fun stuff so I just pinched then off but. Now the seedling is about 4 inches talk with only 2 sets of leaves and the bottom ones are still showing stress. But on my indoor one that's flowering it has a bought with calcium def which I'm still dealing with but idk if I should cut all those leaves with spots

Well that shows how helpful pics are. None of those leaves should be removed. I expected far worse when I read 'damaged' leaves. If you haven't solved the actual deficiency problem yet it will only move the problem to upper/healthier leaves. I doubt it's a deficiency in those small ones, seems more like overwatering and/or over fertilizing.

The little ones started having problems when the temps were around 100 here for 3 days
