Topped 3/6 plants today. Looks good so far.

Here’s that bottom plant 3 days later...

the seedling bottom left has caught up to the seedling bottom right, despite starting 3 weeks later. if i had to wager, id say that the bottom right plant is probably the one i accidentally uprooted while removing its helmet after popping. it’s made some gains the past couple days, so i hope it will start growing well.

overall i am happy. 5/6 are almost four weeks old. bottom left is a week.

my favorite plant so far is that bottom middle. it was the first to pop and went from this

Yeah, it’s gotta be the one that got uprooted at the very beginning. It’s struggled all along until the past couple days. I planted that 6th seedling just because it looked so bad.

I will be happy to get 1-3 female plants. Ideally, 2.

I tried to take pic with same angle as 3 days ago. I am happy with how things are going right now. The struggling plant is doing better and is starting to gain some traction. The seedling I started late is catching up, bottom left...it’s only 10 days old. It’s doing better than all the others at 10 days, probably because I just let it be. I did notice some strange leaves on the most successful plant that look like the edges got eaten. I looked all over for bugs and found nothing. I noticed even the leaves on new growth are forming like that. Im guessing it’s just genetic. I will get a pic of it later.

Things seem to be going pretty well. It’s been about 2 weeks since I transplanted the initial 5 plants into 3 gallon pots and since starting the 6th in its 1 gallon pot. I have topped 4/5 of the first 5 and fim’d the youngest.

I plan to top a second time in a few days, then let them veg about another week, transplant to 5 gallons, and a week after that flip.

These plants are super short and super bushy. I guess that’s to be expected with an indica. Anyway, I love spending a few minutes with them. It’s very relaxing and I got a ton of stress lately, just like everyone else.

I am hoping to get these plants to about a foot before flipping. The tallest is at about 8 inches now. They don’t look perfect, but I still think they look alright (well except for the runt bottom right, yikes).

i took the runt out yesterday and replanted the 5 remaining into 5 gallon fabric pots. the runt will just be a house plant at the computer desk in the sun room.

previous pic was shortly after repotting. here they are almost a day later. my plan is to top them again in a week...then flip maybe a week after that.

God dammit I hate when you subscribe to a thread and it doesnt give you alerts. The odd growth on your leaves is just a slight mutation no biggie happens all the time.

Your plants look over watered in all your pics bro how often are you watering and how much are you giving them?

Other than that they're doing good, at 6 weeks from seed they should be more progressed than they are what are you using for light?

You should be feeding them full nutrients by now every other watering is recommended but I go feed feed water full nutrient from the second week of veg through till the last week of flower.

yeah ive gotten the overwatering feedback in another thread. i was watering a gallon between the 5 plants every two days. ive cut it back to 3 days. i haven’t been feeding because they were in the happy frog 4 weeks and then repotted. i also raised the light 2 days ago because i wasn’t adjusting as they grew and it was getting too close.

the guy told me that this strain grows very slowly in veg but finishes quick. this is my first grow so i guess it is what it is. just gotta learn from the mistakes.

does 1 gallon between 5 plants every 3 days sound ok?

Come to think of it yes the Dakini did grow rather slow but took off when I put it outdoors grew into monsters. Give em at least a liter each every three days that's what they should be drinking but dont water them till the pots are light. It doesnt hurt every now and then to water to runoff, I would start using a 5-2-2 ratio veg nute I use 20-8-8 in peat so maybe 10-4-4 in soil

Edit: doesn't have to be that exact ratio but thereabouts. The Dakini loved the Schultz all purpose for veg and Schultz Bloom for flower

for nutes i have the fox farm trio and i also ordered some of the dr jimz chicken soup for the soil.

The light is definitely having an affect on the slow growth, I've only ever used HID but I know the Marshydro 3000w is equivalent to a 1000w HID 2000w = 600w so I can only imagine the 250 is very insufficient at best. That would probably be alright for seedlings. If you plan on sticking with LED Marshydro is a great brand but you should get at least a thousand watt I would go for a 2000 or 3000 if you can afford it. I won't give you the exact t figure but @MarsHydrofactory gave me a phenomenal deal on the 2000w model I just haven't taken him up on it yet.

SP 250 just the model name. Actually, the grow result is alsow amazing,it is similar to TS 3000 which also come with meanwell driver. dimmable bright, extended power cords. the grow result is great. below are some grow pictures shared by the other growers.

alright so i gotta get this overwatering thing in check. i thought i was getting better at it but obviously i wasn’t. gotta learn by doing though. i’ll give them a week of only watering lightly every 3 days and see if there’s improvement. plan to top again in a few days. then let them go another week or so before flipping, maybe longer idk. pretty sure i cooked a few leaves because i didn’t raise the light as they grew. it was at like 18” but i raised it up the other day.

I topped 4/5 plants again on Wednesday. Since the last post, I changed the watering to about a liter each every 3 days. Im wondering if I should push that back to 4 days? They are pretty dry after 3 days but they still don’t look like they’re thriving.

In the last 9 days I fed twice and straight 6.5 pH water once. Im using Dr. Jimz Chicken Soup for the soil. I also added some cal mag once.

Tonight I knocked an hour off the light period so now they’re on 17/7. Will drop another hour of light in a few days. Plants are at 14” tall now but that’s after the topping and some LST.

Oh and I accidentally snapped a main branch on the bottom left plant during LST 3 days ago. I taped it up and it doesn’t look like it’s s dying.

i think they’re starting to look better after a couple feedings and less water. i probably don’t have it just right yet, but hopefully improving. they definitely perked up since yesterday.

Like I've told you a few times now brother, it's easy to know when it needs water.
If you pick up the pot with one hand and it feels light, like way light, that's when you water. Again, your plant will only start to wilt when it's REALLY REALLY DRY and like 4-10 hours away from the point of no return. After you water pick up your pot and get a feel for the weight.
Do it slowly and start from the middle by the stem, and circle outwards, pouring slowly so that as soon as you see run off coming out the bottom, you can stop. Because it will continue to run off for a bit and stay in the tray. Then your pot will over time, take it back in.
