Dabbing bubble

Hey all fairly new to bubble hash. So after last chop i saved my trim and stuff: so used it made a batch of bubble. Chopped it up left it sit for a few days dried out nice couple days later by hand using parchment paper i blocked it now when I break some off snd dab first hit is super potent and Terpy. But the second to last of it is gross almost burnt taste. Smells 2. Just wondering if it’s normal don’t wanna smoke it if it’s not lol.

I suspect that the off-taste is from the residual plant material, trichome heads.

It is just over packing. Gonna be toast at the bottom. And you're smoking hash. Not full melt. Get a press for that. Enjoy your goodies and put in a joint or top a bowl of something good. Limits the end nasties a bit.

The first hit you are pulling off the aromatic volatiles, while the last one is mostly combustion, leaving a burned phenolic/cellulose taste.
