cutting the 2 bottom leaves!!

my friend told me that you caught the 2 bottom leaves off the plant right away, he caught them of 1 of the plants that wasnt has healthy as the other one, because i wanted to make sure he was right

it is not necessary to cut those off, the usually die off after 3-6 weeks veg naturally, no help needed for this job and on a young plant you should be cutting around in the first place if you not sure what you about to do there anyway
