cutting problems

What you are trying to do is keep them healthy while they root. If they are wilting consistently then they need hydration, either high humidity or spray them to raise humidity. They need to be "forced" to search for water but they also need to be hydrated enough to survive the process... There is some intuition involved IMO.

NO, cutting off the yellow and/or decaying leaves will not stunt them relative to how fast they would grow/root if you don't trim the leaves... They do not need much light while rooting and they do not need a lot of vegetative mass either. If you want to risk them dieing and have the upside of more leaf mass when they root that is your call, if you want to ensure that they root and you keep the genetics, then you should trim the leaves and make sure the humidity is higher. Once they root they will put any "lost" trimmed leaf mass back on very quickly. If it was me I would trim them back and make sure they root properly...
This info is incorrect.. Go to http://www.skunklabshc.com and read through the CloneTek Cloning Tutorial page. I copied this add from their facebook.

First of all a simple one liner, 2 weeks after the thread was posted is just rude. You say the info is incorrect with nothing to back it up, still have heard nothing. Maybe you missed the fact the statement was on theory behind cloning and not a step by step. The OP already had his plants in DWC buckets but I guess you would have him pull them out and stick them in rockwool cubes lol... everything you have posted isn't even relevant. The clones taken in that clone tek were not cannabis... and as to your statement that the health of the mother doesn't matter, I quote from the clone tek you site "It is generally best to take clones from the top most branches of healthy plants".

I've taken cutting from plants in poor health, a super healthy mother isnt going to stop this problem you have. That's caused by the grower the ph is likley way off or your feeding it way too high ppm's and possible really unbalanced nutrient formula. At this stage of grow you can pretty much just use CloneTek and ResClear by skunk labs horticulture ( u can use dutchmaster zone in place of ResClear) with 100-200 ppm of nutrients.. It doesnt matter what the mother looked like with right ph 5.5-5.9 for early growth it will be in perfect health.
Again, your own tek says otherwise. And, you make it awfully clear where to get this magic formula "CloneTek and ResClear by skunk labs horticulture". I will be watching you and calling you out if you are indeed just marketing here.

Ok, so we take clones then put in 63 degree room, no misting, and whatever other b.s. was on that commercial you posted and expect good results. My guess is that commercial wasn't even done with MJ. But thanks for the follow up additional product plugs, I will go right out and buy them all!

The info I posted was exactly correct. And btw the OP followed my advice and saved his clones. Go ahead tell me what is incorrect and how to address it otherwise. Did you even catch that these were taken then transported from OK to CO.

Anybody (especially newbies) that reads this should skip any advice "giftedone" gives IMO.
I stand by this, you have still not said why the info was wrong and you can't, it wasn't. You should not be listened to.

That was an ad that was an experiment by that company for CloneTek not a how to, if u go to their site the info page has a tutorial on how to clone.. skunklabshc.com .. They actually know what they are doing unlike you.

They sent me a sample of clonetek as the first product ive tried from them, it worked as advertised and better then anything else ive used.

I cut up a few small vegging plants all the way and filled up a clone tray just used the clontek only and put it in the veg room with no dome and didn't mist it. they all rooted super quick and the roots were thick and white and leaves all stayed green. didnt even trim any of the foliage.. so either ur info is incorrect or their product is just more advanced wat ever.
First of all they don't have a tutorial, the tek you mentioned is it.. you are clueless, "they didn't even trim any foliage" again he was in DWC and having issues not seeking advice on how to take clones. Your immature insult makes me think you are a boy or not the sharpest tool in the shed. Go ahead, again try to set me straight on why my statement about theory was incorrect and/or not relevant. Waiting... "so either ur info is incorrect or their product is just more advanced wat ever" I wasn't recommending a product or even suggesting a method, clearly I was explaining theory of the process. It is a ridiculous statement.

If you aren't going to say anything relevant/intelligble, then buzz off before I spray you with some neem...

Wouldn't let me edit.

I'm done here barring something relevant to the OP in the thread. +rep for hijacking it John, and good luck on your grow man!

Ok so my fault i think i maybe was a little too harsh, before using that newer product i had issues as well but still had high success rate, they just took much longer and less roots. So it seemed as though the info u suggested high humidity and trimming up foliage quite a bit, misting etc. seemed like possible issues for me or anyone in the past.. but after using some other products i obtain more roots quicker and healthier so i just kinda figured those old "necessities" as untrue and not necesary.. But i guess it's may be necessary depending on what product you use in the water..

I obv cant tell what plants were in the ad but non the less it worked for my plants. It just works i dunno.. i told u just used the product with a tray full of clones no dome and no misting no trimming.. maybe instead of 11 days to root woulda been 7 with a dome i have no idea

I would flush and lower ppm to 100 or so using cloning solution for nutes.
Thanks for adding some relevant advice to the thread. As I said in my first post I do not have experience with DWC, this is the kind of advice that would have helped John out. The good news is the thread is 2 weeks old and he already has 2' roots going on them... Thanks again Jedi

Ok, for the benefit of the community I am posting this.

I was pa-rousing another grow site and after I posted in a spider mite thread, I looked and who did I see?

GiftedOne, pushing the same products. Then did a search and found him pushing the products and similarly getting called out on it in several other threads.

I will not post those other threads/link to another grow site out of the respect I have for this one, but anyone wanting proof of the "product pushery" can PM me if they want.

Consider yourself sprayed with neem...

This little girl "Cascadian" is recommending cannabis growers to spray plants with chemicals that we smoke.. Avoid her information and dont use chemicals, shes getting mad because ive been recommending all natural alternatives, so that we dont poison ourselves. She is trying everything in her power to act as though im promoting certain companies.. blah pathetic how some people are.

Yes, I admit I am a little girl and I am crying... Great point, your childish statement hurts me deeply and is very compelling.

Anybody that is even remotely familiar with my grows or the advice I give knows I am not a big proponent of chemicals. I grow in organic homemade supersoil and use mostly organic supplements. Azamax, Spinosad, neem, and habanero water are the primary weapons in my arsenal and people know it. You are being ridiculous.

I will use chemicals when infestations are very bad and only in the proper proximity to the end of the flowering cycle. Floramite for example should not be used at any point after 12/12 and I never recommend anybody does.

Again, you can get as childish as you want. It won't change that you are a promoter of product. We both know you can't stop...
