It's true though, they are 2 lil bushy b@tches, haha. Pun was entirely intended! Congrats on the harvest time. I'll be posting while high too when that time rolls around for me! Cheers!Cool Beans!!!
No shit Ixoye - Hats off to you.. Much respect. Ummmm I gotta make a comment about your post "I have two bushy lil b*tches, their foliage is so thick...."!!! Or should i leave that one alone!
Hey it's harvest time. And i guess it because of DICK comments like the last one that dick Pure... made that you don't announce your a chick
OK OK my bad. It was funny though, before I knew you were a chick. My mates and i were laughin our asses off. Kinda blows the entire high knowing your a chick. But totally cool in another lightkiss-ass.
So weren't there supposed to be some pics of the experiment posted?? Or did I miss it??

Yeah i'd have to agree with the trend here. (Even though I'm interested int he experiment outcome) But my main plant which is still in flowering gets to a point where clipping the fan leaves actually have a negative effect, in that the plant just regens the leaves, and more of them. I didn't notice before seeing as I was clipping every 2 days any large fan. But After being away a week I came back to see that there were more fans growing, than what i actually clipped. So i'll stick with only light trimming of strategic fans. (only those blocking other buds)you can remove all the leaves if you want and new ones will grow and take over as fans just like a regen but you are just taking longer to complete the grow so whats the point.
Umm you know Ixoye, I'm pretty good with clippers...It's true though, they are 2 lil bushy b@tches, haha. Pun was entirely intended! Congrats on the harvest time. I'll be posting while high too when that time rolls around for me! Cheers!
guess all good if you are into long veg, i just wack things straight on 12-12 from seed and get them in flower at 21/2 weeks, not to many leaves to worry about trimming lolYeah i'd have to agree with the trend here. you don't experience regen of the Fans? Sorry dude, maybe I didn't getcha... You said you take your seedlings straight to 12/12? I guess you use the stretch as the veg period? Or you just put them in flower and let them regulate their need for vegetation?guess all good if you are into long veg, i just wack things straight on 12-12 from seed and get them in flower at 21/2 weeks, not to many leaves to worry about trimming lol
Hunh?thanx snow crash that was a big help i did trim my fans and ill let u no the result when im done
looking good bro they both look pretty good the trimmed ones dont look bad at all buds still look nice and chunky lolOK - So we're about 1/2 way through. and here are the photos. I've numbered the top 6 colas on each side. These plants typically start to pack on weight in this and the upcoming cycle - another week or 2. I think any differences will be magnified during this period. Overall the plant seems healthy. No outward signs of stress - no 3 lobe leaves, no wilting or curling, no signs of burn.
On the untrimmed side, #1 and 3 look pretty good. #2 and 6 get shaded pretty bad. 4 & 5 are OK, but they're kinda low and outside, so they don't get great light.

On the trimmed side, there is less of a difference between them all. 3, 4 & 5 are a bit bunched together, but the trimming has helped them all get good light.

How is a plant that is LST'ed be a 'control' plant? A control plant is one that you don't do anything to but feed, water and supply light to, as with your subjects. You can't alter a plant's growth using a technique like LST and call it a control group. That is as unscientific as you can get. lolUse two plants same genetics, both use same nutes same foliar
LST and fim both plants
Next the control will be healthy one which you just LSt
Other will be the one for defoliation trim the shit out of it until flowering. See which one has best high and taste
LOL IXOYE- too funnyWell like my last avatar used to read "I ain't no dude."
So some of your best friends must be straight chicks
