Cutting away rot when manicuring???

I've been harvesting various plant the last week and will continue to over the next week or 2. While manicuring I'm cutting away the bad bud. In some cases I find some early rot (slight browning on the inside of the bud near the stem). The question is, if I miss a little of the early forming rot, will the bud mold during the drying and curing process...

What's been the experience of the pros here?

no it will just stay brown in that spot where the budrot is until its dry. so just cut it off
the buds can mold if they are touching eachother and are wet,

Well said, I couldn't agree more.

The rotting comes from moist buds touching, so if you pick the majority of the dead, rotted stuff away, you'll be fine. As long as it's dry, things will be fine.
