Cutter Electronics: Complete DIY COB kits

First time getting delivery from DHL.... do they normally have some guy text you from their cell phone asking for signature release for delivery? Shit seemed shady as hell, I'd rather just sign for my package when it gets here...

Woah that does sound weird

Yeah I was getting normal automated text updates then some guy sent me a text from a cell yesterday morning saying he was from DHL asking for signature release for delivery so they can leave it at my door, so I went outside thinking they were there... they did show up about 6 hours later though....

Prob paranoid from the but it sounds like some guy wanted to keep my shiny new leds and thought I'd be at work.

DHL usually texts me week of delivery. Prompting me to go online and schedule a delivery time. I have gotten texts from drivers b4.

Yeah I get the automated computer ones, but even the pizza delivery guy doesn't send me text messages when they're lost... lol

could someone teach me proper grounding? When I wired this up I wasn't thinking about that, or is the driver already grounded?

Yes the driver is grounded so if you mount it to the frame your good. Do you have a multi meter to test it?

For grounding I mounted the driver directly to the aluminum frame and secured it down which uses the drivers ground for the fixture. I tested this by using my multi-meter set at 200k ohms and touching the positive to multiple spots on the frame and the negative to the ground prong on the plug of the driver getting a 0 reading on the meter. My electrician buddy finally made it by today and gave everything a thumbs up so it'll be put up tomorrow morning and I'll get some pics for you guys.

That is one awesome looking beauty of a set up. Maybe someone can talk my brain into getting over the cost because I really do want one.
