Customer/Local PD entrapment

If one were to purchase beans and said beans were caught in customs, would/could customs get in touch with your local pd and pd tell them to let the beans go to their destination so that enough time could pass for pd to let a grow get near maturity and then bust an ass?

This has been in the back of my mind for quite some time. Last bean delivery stayed in customs waaaaay to long - 29 days to be exact. Package looked un-tampered with, however, we don't know if a new package could have been used by customs to send the beans out or not. Wouldn't this be considered entrapment, both by customs and the local pd? And if customs does find "contraband", isn't it their responsibility to see to it that said "contraband" doesn't make it to the destination?

Any input on this would be appreciated. :leaf:

Oooooooooohhhhhhhhh ... NICE! I better change locations, huh? But seriously, you don't think it's possible, as corrupt as we know law enforcement is, that there may be a "new" method to their madness on catching people?

Ask yourself,, Are 10 pot seeds worth chasing down someone , ? They throw them away ,,If you get the letter dont sweat it ,, order agin from another place and send them to granny's house , I would not send them to where you are growing ,,JUST IN CASE

See, I wouldn't ordinarily worry, but I can't understand the logic/reasoning how beans could stay in customs for 29 days. I mean, where would they be, in a bin waiting for inspection and mysteriously forgotten about? The beans were shipped the day after ordering - tracking shows that. Tracking also shows they were in NY in customs for 29 days. The packing was stealth and it just made me surmise the goings-on of corrupt law enforcement. When growers get stealthy, don't you think it's possible the kops have to be two steps ahead of them?

I did get the letter - that's my whole point with this thread. I was asking if anyone thought it possible that customs inspected and found beans, contacted the recipient's local pd to let them know and local pd advised customs to let it ship so a grow bust could take place...
