Curing in Pizza boxes

I know a place that makes pizza boxes so I'm wondering if this would be a good curring method.

Basicaly, you lay the buds out in your pizza box and close it. The cardboard should absorb some of the moisture and release it into the air while keeping some humidity in the box.

Glass jars make me concerned with mold and it seems like it would take forever to dy.

The cardboard will probably absorb too much moisture and dry the buds too quick. Theres nothing wrong with glass jars... just do it properly. It's not exacly hard and it's much better than cardboard boxes. Boxes are only really any good for the actual drying process [and even then, it'd dry it too quick, imo.]

Nothing like a good cardboard flavor...
If I'm out I'll throw the shit in the microwave or leave some in a warm area. It's a waste and it's harsh, but I'm out. You do have to shed a tear. It took months to grow it right and now I'm fucking it up. At least there's more. I can cure it right. It don't take that long compared to the grow time. The only reason to flash cure any quantity would be to sell it. In that case it's your reputation.

The longer you let the bud dry and cure, the better the end result will be.

It should take about a month to properly dry and cure bud. Mason jars are great and you will not get any mold if you watch them and "burp" the jars everyday.

The flavor, smoke, aroma gets so nice after curing for several weeks and you will be a lot happier with the end result if you do it the right way :)

i also read dropping an orange peel in there with the curing improves the aroma and taste...ive never done it. Just my 2 cent :)

with the orange peel or carrot idea, only put it in there if ur buds are to dry and only put them in for at most overnight or about 6 hours, u'll see what i meam, only do it hours at a time or u'll basically have to dry it again

never be innotvative! unless you got the bud in hand and can afford it. lol, learn the hard way. Except with soil amending. growing just got a lot easier! I use the jars and yeah it takes some time, but it works and it is a lot better. I use a dry net sort of and in three days they got the mason jar. Sometimes I have to leave the lid off for an hour until the buds dry again and I can close it.
