Cupboard setup

Hi was just wondering what some people think the best led light would be for a cupboard set up around 1.5ft x 4ft wanting to get 2 plants in it, I’m using the same space just now for one plant using a 600w light but doesn’t seem bright enough and wanting a better recommendation for next time, wanting to spend about 200/250 at most

260w quantum board v1 kit dimmed to around 200w

Or 200w of strips. (google ledgardener)

Marshydro do a sp250 which is a reasonable light on a budget.

Depends on your height too. If its low profile strips would be better. Building one is simple and most cost effective.

What 600w light have you got right now?

A 4 pack of these for $135 plus a meanwell HLG 185c1400a wired in series mounted on a basic frame with no heat sink needed.
Should be under your budget

Just looking now, he has the scope-220 on sale. Its a shame its not longer and narrower.

I would email him and ask if he could do a custom set up with 4 of those bars running = = like that, would suit you space a lot better and should be in your budget. I know he used to do custom builds, not sure if he still does but its worth asking.

Sorry, thought I had linked it already..

Like I say, really you want 4 bars rather than 3 and running 2x2 longways to cover your space. Looks like a heat sink is about £10 and strip is £26 , would work on the same driver hes using for 200w so should be (I hope) £250 or less!

With the length and width you have I would tend to go for strips over quantum boards. The strips give you better airflow and believe me you could run 2 levels in the space you have with careful planning and training of the plants, No need to grow tall plants indoors more so in a cupboard just to trim a 3rd of ie lollipoping to leave you with 2 ft colas, serious waste of space, time and electricity and not efficient growing. 1ft colas in a scrog or sog and have first class product to smoke come harvest. That's how I see it right or wrong, but it works. Everyone grows differently to suit their own conditions and space. If your interesred in similar style growing as explained mention me to diyled uk and he will be on the ball.

have a good look at my diary and see (click the link below my post) if it is something you can live with, it's all a diy setup as far as the cab and lighting goes. Send him the exact size of your grow space what you have for intake and outake for air etc and if you like how my setup is tell him you would like a similar setup. He knows my setup inside out. Just mention Tokenroll / Zypheruk.

Okay mate thank you, and what do u mean intake and outtake do u mean for a carbon filter cause if so I don’t have one not sure where I’d be able to put it in my cupboard

Yes a carbon filter or the stink is going to be impossible to get rid off.

Okay bro thanks, what would be the best way to install a carbon filter in my cupboard, where would I have the out take blowing?

with a carbon filter do I need to have it blowing out cause I don’t have an exhaust fan anywhere to connect it to can you just have it recirculating the air and still have it get rid of the smell?

You will get all the details here on the setups as for airflow etc, explains it perfect.
