Cull based on preflowers

Does anyone here use preflowers to determine sex and pull any plant they suspect of being male?

I asked on another forum and only got one answer which was to ignore them and wait until flower.
Here is my situation, I'm growing two bag seeds and attempting a SCRoG for the first time. I'd say my plants have another month before I flower and I really want to avoid weaving males into my screen unknowingly for the next month. My plants are showing preflowers and I'm afraid they are male preflowers on both.

I could toss them into flower and then back to veg but I want to avoid that shock. I was hoping they were feminized as each seed was the only seed I found in half ounces of otherwise sinsemilla so I was hoping for selfies but who knows what the hell pollinated them.

normal practice is to cull males at first sign of sex. some flower before the plants are mature, and have to look for preflowers in the first few weeks of flowering. everyone else vegges, and will cull when plants show male preflowers.

toss up some pix, we'll let you know if it's male or female.

If you have preflowers then you should know if they are male or female. And yes, you PROBABLY will have females if you only found a seed or two in a bag. Some might say "No don't grow those, they will herm!" In my experience, those seeds have always been female and never hermied on me, maybe i've been lucky but that's been my experience. Just keep an eye out for male parts when the start flowering

Thanks, I had taken a picture of one of them a few days ago but they've grown quite a bit since then. I'll take some new pictures when my light comes on tonight. I figured I could judge based on preflowers, being told to just ignore them annoyed me. Neither plant has shown pistils.

This is the first picture I took when I thought the preflower was looking like a ball on a stick, the preflowers have grown since then so I can now take some better pictures that I'll upload tonight:

I completely understand if that picture isn't good enough to tell but that's all I have right now.

Yes I do! I cull the males when they show per flower why waste your time and soil and nutes on males that you don't want. I'm breeding my males this time around but their sex will still be determined before flower.

Damnit, that's what I thought. Especially with the way it's growing, males always seem to be vigorous in my experience. I'll still take some updated pics, that's my C99 bag seed but I'm afraid my Alien OG is the same, preflowers are much larger on that one.
you can post newer pix, but that's definitely a testicle...

I'll at least post the Alien OG too just to be positive on that one as well. I took that picture when I first noticed preflowers and was like "damn this looks like a dude" post on another forum about it and got told not to trust preflowers lol

Exactly how I feel, why waste a month of time and a bunch of nutes just to find out its a male, especially if you can ID them this early. I don't understand why someone would just ignore a sign like that.

I went ahead and flipped those plants to flower, I'm going to collect pollen from the C99. Also went ahead and started germing 5 Blue Dream seeds
