Critique my watering method

Soil is promix, I dont know its ph.
My tap water comes out around 8, I let it sit for a couple days and it goes down to 7.6

In fresh soil, after a transplant, I use that 7.6 tap water, no nutes. The runoff comes out at about 5.5, and it goes up by about .2 to .3 every time i water. At this stage I water about 4-5 days apart.

After a few weeks when the soil is older, I start adding nutes. This year Im using Dyna-Gro's Foliage Pro in an effort to stop my leaves from yellowing during flower. This brings the ph of my water down to 6.7. And at this point, there isnt much left in the soil, the runoff comes out at 6.6, which I think is right where I want it. At this stage I water 3-4 days apart. I add nutes every other watering, and in the non-nuted waterings, I add a couple drops of vinegar to bring the ph down to 6.7 and runoff comes out at 6.6


Anybody see anything I should be doing differently?

Just make sure you do the following:

-keep your water PH between 6.2-6.8 before watering. This means adjusting it after applying nutes if necessary.
-water with nutes every other watering (which you've also been doing).
-Start light with nutrients when you do give them to the plant.
-Once a week feed with molasses. 10-15 ml per gallon.

It sounds like you're doing o.k.

I think its primarily peat with a bunch of stuff mixed in, not really sure.
My leaves yellow and fall off in the last month of flowering, lower ones first. This crop im feeding with Foliage Pro (9-3-6) even during flowering but theyre still yellowing.
Buds finish big and beautiful, but not as dense as they should be. I think that may be due to heat, so Im keeping them an extra 6-8 inches away from the lights this time to see if that changes.

the three bitches on the left are 2 weeks into flowering, the three on the right are 6 weeks in. The one in the back right is a freak thats acting very sativa-ish, but theyre all from the same mom.

hey Mike you got a nice ladies in the pictures ! about your watering method is fine...I do the same thing....I have soilless in my pot too, i just 50/50 peat moss and perlite and added with Lime...im too lazy to take a picture of my lady plant is outdoor grow lolz...so shes into 1 week flowering...so what kind of strain do you grow now ?

its supposedly silver haze.

ahh its pretty good strain....all i got strain is bagseed, last time i smoked it was knocked me down that shit was came from mexico...and i happened to find one bean...today i watered and i noticed that the few white pistills turned into a light purple or pinkish...so tomorrow im going to bring manifier to check it out good job with your plants, sir and +rep for ya , Mike. happy growing and peace
