Critical kush (barneys farm)

Hey guys, I've got my CK in my prop at the moment. Just wondered if any of u guys had any tips or hints on growing this strain, that could help me on my way (likes it's nutes etc) This is my 3rd grow so my knowledge is limited. And also would like to know what kind of set up you have and what results you got with the CK.
cheers peeps,

some phenos flower for 75 days. Im not sure if its the OG in it or not. Great smoke, but the clone I kept wouldnt finish flowering after the 3rd time I ran her so she was killed. But before that mishap, I loved her. Great hash plant

I'm growing some critical kush and acopoco gold from barney farm. A critical pic growing outdoors taken on 8/31 gl with your grow mine is over 7' tall.

Ive on my 5th indoor Critical Kush grow. If I was to summarize my experiences with them thus far ID say:
1-Very mold resistant: Ive had a few accidental floods, dehumidifier breakdowns and so on that brought my humidity level to 90 or so for several days. I never once had any mold and herb tested mold free by cc.
2-Very insect resistant: I live in the country and whether I like it or not moths come in on occasion and fruit flies (we do a lot of organic vegetable conserves). Though they will fly around and land on plants Ive never had to use anything other then a mild soapy wash. Ive NEVER had tripes or Spider Mites (knock on wood)
3-Very prone to becoming hermaphrodites: These girls like it strict, 12-12 no f-ups. If you are unfortunate like I was and forgot your lights on or forgot to set the timer for one cycle they will stunt and hermi out for sure.
4- Ready in 58 days flowering: Ive never had to go over 58 days of flower and time and time again they are ready at that point. I have a decent environmental controls setup which helps.
5- Tough strain, love to be in 5 gallon pots with coco. Ive grown Critical Kush in DWC but I prefer the coco.
6-Excellent yielder: On a bad run where things went wrong I would average 1.75 ounces per plant but when using CO2, no light mishaps, no environmental breakdowns you can hit 4-5 OZ per plant. I would put my overall average after 5 grows at 3.25 onces, bone dry. I put 4 plants per 1000WDSCF2835.jpgDSCF2836.jpg

8- Another reason I love growing Critical Kush is its pretty much odorless when growing. I had had to use many carbon filters while growing lemon skunk, white widow, chesse, super lemon haze etc but this genetic I don't even have my carbon filter hooked up yet when you smoke it...mmmmm so so good.

Smoke review: Critical Kush does not dissapoint. Very resinous, ideal for hash or honey oil its a true stoner. Deep body buzz,..can know you out of your in that mode or can motivate if your in that mood. Very versatile smoke that never becomes bland and blah. I use Critical Kush for my insomnia and extreme back pain its it works better than any genetic Ive tried. this is just my point of view however.Smell fantastic up to the roach. Always a challenge finishing a joint alone in 1 go.
I highly recommend this strain. Having been growing for 9 years and many herbs come and go. Im sticking with this as my sure thing and always accepting any recommendations for other excellent genetics from all you cats. Peace

quick question how long do you veg to hit those numbers? I'm running a scrog where i vegged the hell out of her... i'm wondering where i'm going to end up yield wise... the most i pulled off a ck was 8 zips... under a 1 k with 2 others she was the biggest of them all..

How'd i do?

Critical kush of course
600 watt hps flower
t8badboy veg
dwc
8 week flower

i didn't harvest it all yet just this one because it was closest to the light
44 grams wet so 10+dry I'm thinking
overall

I loved this strain very resilient and quality is great. I'm sure someone with a better green thumb could do better. Had a pepper smell that started around week 4 and got pungent. Sativa that got tall and needed yoyos to hold up the buds.

Day 33 critical kush flowering

starting to notice some black growing on the tips of some of the leaves, I think this could be a fungus or mold, humidity levels are 35/40% in the day but goes up to 50/55% in the night, the strain is supposed to mold resistant I know that wont be a 100% true any comments welcome

Your humidity doesn't seem too high.. hmm maybe a lockout or deficiency..
