Anybody ran this strain from dinafem? I have one at about 6 weeks. Trichs are cloudy as could be, but the hairs haven't receded or turned mostly red yet, in fact they're very much still white. Anybody know anything bout this strain?

Yeah I've been running it for coming up on 2 years now. Dinafem says its done in 7 weeks. My one is actually just about done at 6 weeks. I found visually no difference in size letting it go to 7 weeks & no difference to the high. Good high straight from dry but really benefits from a couple of weeks upwards of jar curing.
I'm constantly running new strains & everything else I have grown over the last 2 years has ranged from ok to great but none have come close to the high off this plant. There are a few different phenos in there. Some Indica Dom (apparently more common) & some Sativa dom.
The one I have is a Sativa dom is the frostiest plant I have seen to date. Anyway I'm going to bow out as I'm starting to sounding like a one man fan club.

Here is what the guy from dinafem said to me when i inquired about it some time ago

Our critical+2.0 is also called the bilbao cut of critical as she is sold in a lot of Spanish cannabis social clubs. She has several phenos which have a typical 2-2.5x stretch in the bloom stage. She produces huge fat buds in a fast floweringtime around 7 weeks 49 days for bloom. The 3 phenos only difference is one out of the 3 has more stretch but bigger tops. The other 2 stay with a 2x stretch but with more multiple colas

Should do well in a scrogg setting mate

It rates pretty high where i come from as one of the strongest stuff available and not for first time smokers so this pretty much sums up about 6 ppl that grew it and all say it is going again in the tent no doubt...fast heavy hitter with serious yield but a bit suspectible to mold...beatifull strong smell very pungent, the aroma gets a lot better if grown in organic straight from the dry rack, perfect orange buds are a thing of beauty, just as you imagine a perfect bud shape and colour
If you get the wild pheno it will be a battle cause it can take a lot of food and a lot of light so training is a must to keep her under control

That pic was technically taken at week 6. She's all cut down. Was all cloudy, today, at week 7. Very few Amber. I like an uppy indica. I have to say, she has beautiful buds. Nice and dense, not that fragrant however. You can tell it's weed but it's not overwhelming by any means. Slight hint if lemon. But to my tired old eyes, she almost looks to have some pinks and magenta's in the calyxes. I got temps down to get some purps on the leaves and I guess it started getting into the buds. But it might look different all dried and cured up. I hope it stays, it looks crazy. I'll throw a pic up later. After I clean the mess up. Took all of 11 hours. Hopefully yielded about 10 zips. And trim, my goodness gracious. I left a lot of the popcorns and bullshit on the underside of the plant. For the oil run. And she shouldn't disappoint. Guessing about the same weight in trim. Hoping for at least an oz of crumble from that. She was a beautiful plant for sure.

Looks like you got the one with a lot of flowers...looks beatifull mate

Did you defoliate and did you see any bananas around maybe? Some reported it tends to go hermie if you slam the door shut too loud during flower

No defoliation aside from the dead/yellow leaves on the top canopy. Pretty much left her alone in flower. I lollipopped her within the first week of flower. Bout 12inches of growth. NO HERMIES. Absolutely not, wouldn't allowed em to stay if they had. I jacked the CO2 up quite drastically throughout flower tho. That and not doing much to her but let nature take it's course, may have promoted a smoother life cycle. I SCROG'ed her all through veg. Something like a 5 month veg. 10 gal fabric pot. Her total canopy at the end of flower was 3.5 ft X 2.75 ft. All tops. She was about 50inches tall with the pot. IDK how tall just the plant was.

Good to know, it seems like they stabilized it a bit...it had a reputation as a bit unstable but so good that despite that everyone wanted it lol...lucky you didn't get the wild pheno, one guy ran out of height in a 7' tent, said he tried everything but couldn't even slow it let alone stop it
