Hey guys before I do my first diy Cob setup I have a question.

What's the most important specs to look for when buying cob leds and drivers?

Wattage + 3500k, warm white on the led and wattage on the driver?

Here is the specs of the combo they are selling in a city near me.

Cree brand is not widely available in my country.

Thanks!

I've watched his stuff, he mainly uses Cree coz it's the best (most efficient)
But Cree isn't easy to come by in my county. Only Hong Kong cheaper cob's

Only 8000LM output.
For comparisons sake.
Its 1/2 the output of decent cree or citi led on the same power usage.
Its worse then just using a HPS.

That 100W must be going some where which isnt light so it has to going out into heat.

Thanks majin!

Would it be better to rather build a blurple led that consist of 3watt leds?

Or just buy a hps/mh light?

Buy a decent cree or citi led from over seas.
Its what I have to do since there are no stores that sell anything like them in my country and only have the options of rubbish Chinese ones like your listing or buying single individual 3Ws to make a grid.

Sure you have to wait 2-3 weeks for it but the wait is worth it.
Or if you need something soon then HPS or HM be your best option.

Alright awesome thank you I'll do that. I see on Alibaba there is original Cree cxa 3070. What should I get between the 3k or 4k since they don't have 3500 Kelvin in the 3070's.?

I still run 3070's and have had sucess running 3K for both veg and flower.
4 of them at 50W each is quite impressive, Out done my 900W Chinese LED easily.
