Oh my how they have grown, It seems a lot faster when I only check once in a while. They look nice and healthy. good luck with your buggers.
Its a pain having to check on them everday cos I cant see much growth but I have found I need to as sometimes I have had to water them twice a day in extreme heat. But im really enjoying it this year I think because of the extra ive learnt from watching you guys in your season :)

now were getting busy !
im gonna have to start thinking about support TWS what do you recommend?i noticed yest some of the branches wont cope with mid to heavy buds as the spot where I have them unfortunately doesn't have full sun all day hene some branches are looking a bit "stretchy"
I guess im not all that keen on lst this season as I have topped the wonder woman a few times already and feel lst would contribute to broken and split branches etc
When I see pics of four stakes or something like that around a plant is that when they tie them to the stakes? My spot doesn't get to windy at all its just the support for buds im worried about ;)

Hey Ruby, when do you expect flowering to start?
I'm in NSW.

Im seeing pre-flowers on my girls now.

And will I see similar stretch during flowering as I do with my indoor grows?

Cheers

im expecting flower to start around 3rd week jan to 2nd week of feb .But on normal grows I do its more the mid to late feb but I have a gd feeling flower is gonna start earlier than normal this year not sure why but a gut feeling and a gd one :)
is preflowers the 2 hairs coming of the calyxes etc?ill have another look today but I thought I seen some yest.Im not all that exp in picking up on pre flowers etc but others are WAY more exp here on my thread and im sure they will chime in on that mate.As for stretch I don't think it will be as pronounced as indoor but there will still be some stretch tho.
when preflower starts how long till proper flowering starts is a question id like answered ....

Get some hog wire and build a cage, trellis netting or stick four post in each corner and nail 1x2's around them as needed. .

Thanks BC its an addictive past time isnt it
yeah its crazy addictive! i tend to get really involved with my little grows. and after being on riu and seeing what is really possible, just makes me want to plan ahead more, and try different strains that are out of my comfort zone. im lucky to have the best growing weather in canada, but i still worry anout finishing times. its so hard to trust the seedbanks on their predidcted finish times.

Oh and with my little experience, id say i get more stretch outdoors than i ever did indoors. but that could just be me?
No your prob right im.only just starting to break even on the amount of times ive done hydro compared to outdoors so as much as i should know ive never really taken much notice until now its been asked....and finding riu has brought my greenfinger out for my growing of chillis normal and superhots ;) so im glad for that...and the great ppl ive met on here even @TWS that bloke that hangs around lol....crikey

Yeah I'm in to cash for gifts, fuck the whole debt caper! Thanks bro, I'm really stoked with my plamts but I find a couple of my sativas are really nute sensitive and if I add anything stronger than seasol they go all fucking tiger stripey and the leaves fold in a bit. I added some Epsom salts and trace elements and they seem to be greening back up. I think when it's flower time they'll get just worm juice and weak guano feeds. My indicas I can push hard as I want but the sativas are a bit more work. Lol that post I put up in BBQ thread was meant for here but I was so high on my home made hash it ended up there, fuck I love that shit! Buzzes me right out lol
I repost those pics here.....

My forst seed harvest!
Tangerine kush x dinafem
That's gonna be a massive stinky indica Dom plant.
One thing I've noticed is my seeds look 150% better than the ones I buy off the net. Makes me think they sell us the seconds. But mine are fat healthy and just look premium compared, anyways my buying days are done and it will be very interesting where this whole breeding thing goes. I still have three more gals that are bearing seed, silver kush, cole train and sharks breath. I will cross with the best two next year and hopefully come up with a strain I can be proud of.
