so i started drying them on sunday, and i got some surgery done on thursday so i couldnt really do anything with them the last two days. So basically i think theyve dried to much. they snap easily and crumble apart when i touch them. they also need a little more manicuring before there officially done. So i have two questions
1. should i try to get some moisture in them or are they fine? and if so, what would yall do?
2. Can i manicure them in a few days? just typing this out is hard enough due to my lasik surgery lol thanks

A week drying is actually around the time to air dry, throw them in jars for 24 - 48 hours and see if they moisten up.

Trim and put in jars. If they're too dry, you can take a cpl qtips. Wet them, squeeze out excess and put in jar.

Meh I just cut em up and threw em in jars lol as long as the dry doesn't hurt the smoke, I don't care. Does the orange peel trick work too? I have no tortillas, but I do Have oranges lol

the tortillas work the best cause they don't change the taste of the herb, orange peels work apple peels, but all will change the flavor of the strain theres gotta be store around ya mannnnnnnnnnnnnn

no prob. get a paper towel. spray it with a mist of water out of a spray bottle. very lightly. throw the paper towel onto the buds for 10 minits. then throw the buds into a jar or bar . keep an eye on them problem solved. also if you have wet buds laying around you can put dry mixed into wet. and they will remoisten.

how much weed can you roll up in one tortilla? hee hee I remember the first time I saw cut up tortillas in somebody's garbage bag full of weed and I had never heard of it - I thought somebody threw leftovers away in the wrong bag!

rhinohumpenpanda, have you heard of the boveda packs? I haven't used them myself, but I would - everybody is raving about them.

here is a trick I have used in the past that will work if you have wet weed laying around too. if the weed gets drier than ideal, and there is more of that strain hanging on the line that is still wet - you package the wet weed with the dry weed and basically the moisture transfers so that when you re-open it - it's all fairly uniform. you can either put it all in jars or in brown paper grocery bags that are then tied up in contractor bags. obviously it's ideal if the flavors are the same. the trick is to package the dry weed with weed that is almost but not quite dry - not freshly harvested.

The best way Ive found for getting a little moisture back into weed is to put it into a bucket or large bowel and then lay a wet towel over the top. The towel should be wrung out obviously so it doesnt drip and it is best to have at least like 4-6 inches of space between the towel and bud. A few hours is usually enough but you can always go longer if necessary. There is no food or wet material in contact with it that way, it just pulls moisture out of the humid air evenly..works great.
