Crafty vape any good?

I'm thinking about getting a Crafty vaporizer, has anyone got one? If not, I'll probably get one anyway based on Storz & Bickel's reputation.

The battery life seems iffy but I'm planning to use an external battery pack for all nighters. Warm up time seems to be the only other downside.

Comments?

$400 is steep. I'd be surprised to learn it can actually achieve specific temperature control, I'm guessing it only regulates voltage like most portable vapes. An 18650 battery, a DC boost chip, an LE Bluetooth chip and some wiring might cost $60-70 wholesale.

I tried one this past weekend and it was pretty nice, but I wouldn't give up my FireFly over it especially since it's $400. The other big problem is that the battery can't be changed by the user, but it does allow pass-through use (use while charging). I also don't like the shape for being a portable. We also have a Volcano that we rarely used so we sold it for a S&B Plenty and it was WAY BETTER. S&B makes some great products, but I think that they are going to come up MIA soon with all the new stuff hitting in 2015. Like I said earlier...I love my FireFly and would never spend $200 more on a portable vape.

Crafty does not do pass through. All vaping is done off the battery and it resumes charging when you turn it off. Mighty does pass through, that's why it has its own power supply. Crafty charges up quickly enough on external battery to keep me going all night at a show, for example.

FireFly gets praise for flavor but it doesn't seem to have much in the way of temperature control, just a limiter to keep things from burning. Crafty/Mighty, OTOH, are very precisely regulated and provide feedback to tell you if you're sucking too hard and dropping the temp. The aluminum block, the subject of S&B's patent, provides consistent heat throughout the draw.

I like the shape of the Crafty better than FF based on appearances since I don't have experience with FF. I haven't seen someone trying to be stealthy with the FF but it looks like a pipe. Crafty looks more like an e-cig with just the straw emerging from your fist.
