without knowing the nutrient values in them im afraid they may burn my seedling so i cannot use them.
have you had any experience with them?

I've used them before. They look and act like paper egg cartons. They don't break down that easily, and like with jiffy pots, its a good idea to punch out the bottom. You could also use them like plastic trays until they fall part. Personally I think for the sizes that they offer them in, they don't really do a whole lot better than fast food paper cups. Also for what it's worth, I don't believe they add any nutrient value to the medium. Maybe once you've composted them you could gain something, but not while it's in the container.
