Hey guys hoping someone more experienced than me can help me out with a few questions I've had along the way and cant seem to find with the help of the search tool.
Quick background:
Medium: coco coir
Nutes: H&G
Light: 600w hortilux magnum 6"xxxl
1. Humic Acid - I use the Europonic Fossil Fuel - Humic acid and it recommends 5ml/L which is close to 19ml/Gallon so I was wondering is that an ok dosage for plants at any age or does it need to be used incrememently as they get older? Also should it be used every feeding?
2. Dutch Master Reverse - Would using this on plants that have shown female traits and are 2 weeks into flowering be safe? They claim it to help increase female flower production since it's stopping the male flowers but I don't have herm's and both are showing pistils about 2 weeks in.
3. Temps - I just switched up to 600w from 400w on the beginning of week 2 of flower and the temps are about 86 during the day and drop to 75 at night. I believe I am starting to see some leaf curling upward because of the heat stress. I have a 8" fan running 100% but the ducting is quite long mounted up in my attic. Would a swamp cooler be my best bet to possibly reduce temps and raise humidity? (currently 28%) I do have a 6" intake fan drawing cool air running at about 50%.
4. Hygrozyme / Drip Clean - I use the H&G nute lineup and they recommend Drip clean at .4ml/Gallon which I have started since day 1 of flowering but I was also wondering if it's safe to continue my regimen of 3ml/g for Hygrozyme or are they essentially the same thing? I am sure it wouldn't hurt but was wondering if I'm just wasting it using in conjunction with drip clean.
5. Adding medium - Is this ever done? I accidentally assembled my airpots upside down and the coco has since escaped the upper 3" of my container, I want to get the most out of these girls, would it be ok if I added the identical medium ontop or would that confuse the roots?
6. Light Height - It's currently 16" from the tops of the 2 females was 12". It's a 600w Hortilux super with a magnum 6"xxxl, is this an ok height? I am seeing a bit of stretching but I raised it because of the increased temps. It does have the exhaust ducting connected to it so it's quite cool underneath the glass.
