Coughing Up Saliva?

Joint Monster

So I am a medicinal patient. I smoke about a 0.4/0.5 joint every couple of hours, or bong. No tobacco. For a couple of years. An occasional blunt maybe once a month or less. I have been spitting up mucus with little specs of light grey in it. Or I have been spitting clear or foamy spit, sometimes it seems like I have to throw up and spit up a bunch of foamy spit. Also coughing quite often. Is this a big concern, I should contact my doctor about?

I plan to get a vape for bho very soon. Have been trying to smoke very minimally and been switching over to edibles. I know it will clear up within a week or so. It happened to me last winter really bad, where I had trouble breathing in the middle of the night, so I stopped everything completely for a week and got better. However I'm not in a position to stop right now (severe pain) and thankfully it is no where near this bad.

the body produces phlem to surround any outside substance so it can be expelled either thru the mouth or nose or by passing out the intestinal tract.
