fight it! you either will be able to put up a decent fight in court because you have a witness with you or the better part, they probably won't show up if they knew it was bullshit and the tickets will be dropped.

I got a speeding ticket last year from a cop for supposedly going 106 in my silverado but I have a rev limiter on it that wont let it go over 100... so I pleaded not guilty and the douche didnt even bother to show up... I Win...but not really cuz I had to drive hour and 30 mins away 3 times.

very simple...go to the DA office in the county and talk to them..they will dismiss the charges..and as to the not having a licence on you..bulshit... you have like 24 hours to produce an id if you get pulled over..and they should beable to look it op on there cpu's with there..name...dam coppers..

I dont know what to do, my blood is boiling, this shit just happened 15 mins ago. All i got was two tickets, for stop sign and no licence on me. Please advise me on what i should do. Thanks for listening

Go to court and bring your friend as a witness, you will get off. Then put in a complaint on the officers at the Police Department. That is about all you can do right now.:joint:

Well I hate to say it... I wouldn't bother fighting the ticket.
No matter what anyone tells you... It all comes down to your word against the cop. So you bring a witness.. he brings his partner. Your word against theirs.

When people say "If the cop doesn't show up to the court you automatically win"... is just showing they don't know what they're talking about.

So you call a lawyer and he gets the ticket dismissed (really only worth it if you talking about a $800+ ticket)

If you do choose to fight it you have to take a day off work, fight a ticket to prove a point to who? the cop? if they saw someone just like you when they left the court room they would stop them the same way as you.. They won't learn.

Pay the ticket, take the shitty feeling.. :spew:forget about it all.

My buddy is a cop and he explains stories just like yours to me all the time.

Sucks =(

Just pay and move on. Cops are too powerfull now. same thing happened to me and my friends. we got pulled over and the cop asked for my friends information and never told us why we were pulled over (my friend looks hispanic but is actually philipino) it was definately profiling. he never even wrote why we were pulled over on the ticket. he just gave him a ticket for possession of marijuana. needless to say i think the cop (rookie) screwed up and the ticked got waived. my friend is the happiest guy in the world. Cops are too power hungry.
