cooling the grow room HELP

My room is a 12x12 and I have a small tent (20x36x64) with a 400w hps in it. Then the tent is in my closet with a 4in fan 170cfm that pulls through the air cooled light and blows into attic. Passive intake flap at bottom of tent is open Im in the high 80's sometime 90 or higher. During the day with no lights on my ambient room temperature is 80. Would a 5000btu window unit cool my room enough to keep the tent in the closet cool? Or another ideal would be get a 6in fan that pulls from outside tent through light then into attic and use the 4in fan for intake at bottom of tent. Second idea is much cheaper electricity wise but wasn't sure if that would make the difference I need.

yeah a 5000 btu will solve your problem no doubt. A good rule of thumb is 1000 watts = 3500 btu/ hour. Hope this helps
