Cooling 400 watt hps

For this grow i decided to go with a 400 watt hps cool tube combo. My grow tent only has 4" duct holes. I have a 4" inline fan and a 4 " duct fan from last grow, now will that be enough to cool the 400 waty hps if i hook up the inline fan to blow into the cool tube and have the duct fan suck out or should i just spend the extra money and get another inline fan. If so what should i do about a fresh supply of air blowing in is it really needes or could i get by without it.

I would run two seperate ventilation.

Air duct from outside tent to cooltube. Cooltube to fan. Fan blowing out tent.

Passive intake on cab. Fan in cab pulling air out through filter

Thanks man so u think i should splurge and get another inline fan and carbon scrubber. So i want the carbon scrubber on the air blwoing through the cool tube or just the air blowing into the tent.

if you get your air from outside the tent for your cooltube & your ducting is mostly leakfree, you wont need a scrubber for it.
& I have run a 400 cooled by 2 pc fans so unless your intake air is extremely hot, you should be fine

i got a 400w hps as well. and a 4 inch inline fan and filter. i got it all connected together.. my filter to the cooltube, cooltube to fan, ducting running outside..

it sucks air in through the filter through the cooltube and goes outside.

I would hook the duct booster fan to the light, no filter.

Use the inline fan on the tent with a scrubber. I think you should be well set with that.

I need a cooltube but my setup is too small.
