Hi Riu, im wondering if attaching a pc fan to my reflector would to help lower my temps a little more?

I do have a proper setuo atm, rvk fan/filter etc etc but ive seen 2 high powered pc fans, one at 110cfm and one that does 150cfm, so yous think one of those either sucking or blowing the bulb would have an impact?

Also, with the 150cfm one, would that running at full pelt have any effect on the negative pressure in my tent, or possibly mess with my carbon filter /fan performance at all ?

Dont have cash nor space to get an aircooled hood in there. Wish i could.

Thanks for readin y'all.

It will more than likely help.

It wont mess with your negative pressure if its just mounted to your reflector. I would blow it at your bulb rather than trying to suck it away.

Cheers man. Think il give it a try. I think blowing would be better yeah mate, as these small fans dont have alot of static pressure ? Am i right with that ?

Im thinking blowing , slightly lower and up at angle and then perhaps a short length of ducting attached at the other end to help channel the hot air away up to the top. Sounds ok in theory dont it lol

Dont think il go for the 150cfm one though. Dont wanna have to weigh my reflector down with a brick.

Yeah mate, pretty much, still on the drawing board yet. But yeah was thinking about using that strong wire u get, strong but still plyable. Shape & secure that round the fan then attach to the reflector via a few drilled holes and secured in place up top.

I can see it, it looks tremendous in my head ...... but thats just in my head haha
