Cooler cloner.

Just thought I would show my cloner I made from a cooler. I really like it because it doesn't leak cause the lid seals tight, is light proof, doesn't buldge out when full of water and already has a drain in it.

I think I will be using a cooler for my reservoir, in an aero setup, in the future. I saw a 120 QT. one with wheels that will make it easy to move around, and a drain that a garden hose will hook to for easy draining. Along with the above mentioned benefits.

I know that this is an old thread...just wondering if anyone is using one of these successfully, and there are any problems vs. the tote cloner? I have a large cooler that I am thinking of using for this, but I don't want to go to all that trouble and then have an issue. It is a 100 qt coleman. I figured I might be able to do a bunch at once and the size might help keep temps more stable. I plan to use 2 pumps and several air stones.

They work great. No leaks and no bulging. You dont need 2 pumps and several air stones. A pump and pvc with sprayers or micro sprinklers is all you need.
