Cool Tube Questions

I plan on running a Hydrofarm 6" x 19" cool tube along with my 400w HPS in my flowering tent soon. If anyone has used one before, I have some questions please. First, should the fan suck or push the air through the tube and why? The instructions from Hydrofarm are ambiguous. Second, if I hang it vertically, should the socket point up or down? Thanks in advance for your advice.

i ran mine this way .filter-fan-duct-cooltube-duct-out dont no about vertically.probably socket up.some say if you run the fan after cooltube the hot air shortens the fans life.

Better to push air through it, why well if theres a leek when sucking through it you will have odor issues.
pushing from a scrubber through the cool tube will iliminate any chance of a leak. Doesnt matter
on where the socket is.
