cooking with hash

I make my hash the ice water / bubble bag method. Do I need to break the hash down in maybe some coconut oil first? or can I add the hash to my brownies another way? I'm already using cannabutter, trying to get hash in there toowithout wasting it.

Great, no one responded and the whole kitchen melted. Next time I'll just use butter.
