Cookies and Herer-LED Scrog

Heh, I get all excited when I find another cookier grower, with all the copycats and stories of GSC never being released makes me wonder what I or other GSC people have.

Check this out, my clone is from these.. These look like the GSC everybody is talking about. Not to mention I had to travel out of state and visit a medi grower for the cut. I didnt get the mint flavor that some people were talking about. I thought it was pretty good. Mebby I"m a sucker.. I just like the name.

And the finished product was tested.

OOoOOOoh Peerrrty Colors. :)

Looks pretty good eh?.. Hydro grown with the cheap stuff to.. Jack's Professional Hydro.

GSC is a bit tougher to clone too.. I dont know if you're having problems but I know my clone success rate dropped.

Looking forward to seeing more of your grow :) ..

not intended to offend at all but unless you gave them a long flush, there seems to be alot of fried fans on those girls. I use jacks pro hydro as well and hardly have a crispy leaf at harvest. Mind if I ask what ppms you run at what ph and how often you change the rez? Also, I assume you use the calcium nitrate in conjunction with the base, what ratio do you run it at?

That being said, the finished product looks AMAZING!!! What a thick coating of trichs.... doesn't get much better! :)

Not trying to threadjack but..

I wish I could answer those questions, these are pictures I got from the grower I got my clone from. All he said is go easy with the nutes. I have some GSC's in a supersoil formula and the others in drip hydro and a lighter feed is the way to go.

I'm growing out locally sourced clones so the genetics may or may not be what they should be and that really doesn't bother me.
I'd rather smoke something fantabulous that was a no name ganja than get some super named strain and know 100% what it was and it be garbage smoke.
Have I liked all the cuts from them? nope. Have I found a couple keepers? absolutely.

I like dessert names, so I gravitate to those, ice cream, animal cookies, girl scout cookies, I've heard of tons that I want to try.I did just order sinmint cookies a few weeks ago, they will get a chance soon.
And then I also look at plants and have no idea the name and I think. I like how she looks, I'd love to grow that. So yea. I could change my name
tomorrow I'd still be me. Not much in a plant's name. Other than to trace it's pedigree which is hard when you get an unknown clone.
Just took these. we are at day 39 of 12/12

I just use my phone on macro setting no special lighting or filters. Samsung galaxy 4. It's an older phone, they keep putting off the 6 which is pissing me off.
I never get a new phone every release but I am wanting a new one had this one awhile.
And thank you for the compliments, I love taking pics of my girls. I have tons more than I ever post :bigjoint:

OKAY.. well I do use an app on my phone to get macro shots, the default camera is OK but I like more control over what my pics
look like other than oh there is a face in the shot.. wtf?
So anyway yea it's a crappy app hangs all the time but I get decent mac shots.
here are shots at varying degrees of closeness. I gave some of these to a friend of mine that does art and has her stuff in a small gallery in NYC
She uses the up close shots as alien landscape ideas. which I think is neato.
yes I said neato!

A slipper orchid, of the genus Paphiopedilum. Its a relative to the north american native "lady slipper." :) Not sure which species this particular one is, I lost the damn tag long time back :p

Oh I hear ya, ive grown out lots of hyped strains over the years.. Its points me in the right direction at the very least.

What i do run into is underrated strains.. great stuff that hardly registers on the radar. Like Misty, I think its better than WW, but hardly anybody has heard of it.

Alright you guys!
I will not be here for at least a week, I'm moving so there is a ton to get taken care of. basement to be made into grow space, garage to do the same. plus actually
move furniture in too. And I have to work, so just super killer busy right now.
I'm going to have to unwrap the twine from the screen to move my girls, because they aren't ready to harvest. and I have giant moving boxes to put them in and
keep them safe.
Animal cookies is very skinny plant, she is just long and leggy, she didn't veg as long as I should have so I get what I get, what she lacks
in volume she makes up for in visual appeal and her high is crazy good. so I keep her. She has a long time left since we are like 35 days in or so.
she's not quite half done.
