Controlling Humidity in a grow box

I have a homemade plastic rubber maid grow box and the humidity level stays at 30% no matter what i do. (leaving bowls of water in it, spraying everywhere, only brings it up to 40% for maybe an hour) how do i control the humidity in this damn thing lol. should i buy a reptile terranium humidifier or something? if anyone has had a similar problem with a grow box what device or method (other than what isn't working for me ofc) did you use to fix it. if you had to buy things post link to site where i can buy them too.

bump, i have a similar problem. Damn dry winter.

Only thing I have noticed is since I planted other plants in the box(basically filling the floor space with plants) it's raised the humidity 10-15%.

Why not just get a humidifier and hook it up to a controller to where when it reaches a certain humidity level, it shuts off?

Well I have the same problem and what I have done is take bowls of water with a hand towel in them to wick away the moisture. It keeps my small box at around 40% humidity!

My humidity sits around 45-50 with the ambient air being about 25-30. About 20% increase I only had to make the entire bottom of my cabinet into a big pond. It's a plastic shelf upside down. Then a grated shelf above that to put the plants. Fans blowing down at the water. I have really aggressive exhaust tho too. Refill every 3 to 4 days. Clean once in a while it gets slippery/scummy.
