What is the best controller for me. They don’t have the Gavita brand anywhere near me and I’m not trying to spend that much money. I was planning on using the breaker that says dryer
Cant you just get an 8 light controller from sentinel or something like that? Do they make 6 light controllers? Is 6 gavitias even enough marijuana to smoke?

I have two of the gavita controllers they are pretty nice. Otherwise unless you buy a similar compatible controller you won't have all the features of the lights. They don't have knobs to dim them anymore. The controllers also have high temp dimming and high temp shut off in case your cooling system fails.

I love my gavita lights and the controller just makes them even better.

How do I hook my lights up to power supply the Gavita controller doesn’t have any outlets on it

I was just answering his second question.

But @Renfo you are totally right the controller you suggested would be the cheaper option. The gavita controllers are just a fancy timer. The lights still have to be plugged into a 240 socket. The gavita controller just connects to the lights through tiny phone cables to tell them what to do, not power them.

So they don’t need to be hardwired? Do I just need the master controller or do I need buy multiple products to run my lights

Will the Helios shut my lights off if they get too hot
You can get a high temp shutoff and use that with the Helios. You plug the helios trigger cords into normal timer/s, each trigger cord controls the receptacles on that one side of the box. So say put some lights on one side and the rest on the other and use the high temp shutoff on one side but the other stays on to keep cycle.

The good thing about the Gavita controller is that it will dim the lights in a high temp situation. I suppose the need for that is really dependent on how well you can cool your room.

The helios does not have high temp shut off. If you went with the master controller you would need to run a 240 circuit to the room and have sets of 240 wall plugs at the end of the circuit. You would plug the power chord of your lights into that. Then connect the Ethernet cables to each light and the master controller. The master controller plugs into a 120v outlet. That's everything you would need.
For the helios you also need to run 240v circuit to your room, then the helios at the end of that. Then your lights plug into that. The helios has a 120v v chord coming out of it that will plug into a 120v electrical timer that will tell your lights when to kick on and off.

I haven't looked at the electrical requirements on the 750's but won't a standard Intermatic pool timer handle 6 of them?
run a circuit up form that with 3 pairs of 2 outlets for the lights to plug into
