This is gonna be my on going journal with my flowering cab stealth dresser. The dresser in 46T*18D*24W, equipped with a 70cfm exhaust fan. Strung across the top is 5 porcelain sockets with 68W 27K Home Depot lights pushing out 4200 lumens each along with 2 of the walmart $10 17W 78K T8 grow tubes that are now pushing about 1000 lumens(I removed the lenses) as well as 4 26W 65K's on 2 drop lights, both with Y splitters. Total lumen output is 29400. I have a little rubermaid cabinet I'm using to veg, and its layout is constantly changing cuz I'm always having to adjust for new growth and adding more bulbs. As I believe in mixing spectrums all throughout my grow because the sun produces them all I'm just trying to do the same. I know I'm not using the most usable spectrums required for optimum photosynthesis I still strive to do what I can with what I've got, and for fairly cheap. And being raised by parents that closely qualify as "Hippies" I strive to be as organic as possible with both nutes and pesticides/fungicides.

Soil-FF Happy Frog lightened with 4/1 ratio of soil to vermiculite for good root structure and water retention
Nutes-General Organics GO Box(all vegan organic food, except the Bio Marine that contains pressed squid(but I'm not that picky so whatev lol)
Pesticides/Fungicides-Safer Insecticidal Soap, NEEM Oil II by Schultz and sulfur powder

If you all can bare with my low resolution pic for a little bit, my girlfriends son just recently destroyed the shutter on my digital, so I'm stuck using the crappy 3.0mp camera on my phone. Best I can do till i can afford to either fix or replace it...

I've kinda had this going for a bit now with 1.5 grows, figuring things out with lighting and timing to keep this a conveyer belt of growing and flowering plants. I'm starting with the 2 babies in veg now. I begin all my seeds in expanding peat cylinders from Ace Hardware(brand unknown) and then move them to red party cups. These 2 have just been transplanted 2 days ago to 8" pots. On the left is Orange Diesel and right is Kaya Gold. I scored the OD from my boy who moved to Nor.Cal to grow on a large scale legal op, the guy he's working for crossed them himself. From NYC Diesel and Orange Cream. The bud tasted like smoking the zest of an orange and was soo stoney and couch-locking. The KG I ordered last year from Nirvana Seeds, its 1 of 2 seeds I had left so I gotta grow them. The last pics of the dresser and plant are from the 2nd to last grow(sorry to tease you all lol)

With my swamp cooler running 24/7 my humidity levels have been averaging 45% now with daily highs of 79 in the veg cab directly under the lights

Really like the sound of this grow, you know what you're doing and are using General Organics. The reason I like this is because I'm going to be using this for my first proper grow which can unfortunately only start in mid august, funds only allow me to use Micro Grow, Micro Bloom, Bio Bud, and CaMg+ all from General Hydroponics' General Organics line. They look really good to me. Will love to see how this goes.

Thanks Weariedjuggler and Rrain! I'm excited about this who thing I've finally managed to work out all the kinks with my timing from seed to veg, then getting them into flower, and by that time I popped more seeds to keep it going. The cool plan in the near future of about 4 months is I'm getting a place with my girl and she wants me to expand the grow op to a closet and going to 600W HPS. I plan to keep the dresser for keeping a male and female together to have my own supply of seeds.

I'm so happy to see how fast the Kaya Gold caught up to the Orange Diesel. I gave them both a light feeding with 1/8 tsp Bio Grow, 1/8 Superthrive and a few drops of Bio Weed. Seems to have perked them up quite a bit. More good news(I'm almost 100%) the OD is showing what looks like preflower pistols...as for the KG it's female for sure(thanks to feminized seeds).

Anyone familiar with FIMing? Most things I've found online have a lot of writing but not any pics. As I understand it, it's like topping but where topping only makes 2 main colas, FIMing can make up to like 10 mains...If anybody can help me with it I'm wanting to do something to the O.D.

If im not mistaking males can pollinate from very far away, and if you wanted to keep growing the same strain, why wouldnt you do clones? it seems it would be alot easier than to start from seed every time.

For the life of me I've never successfully cloned. Tried 3 different cloning powers as well as about 5 different mediums and still nothing. Plus I like variety of buds, the same ol buzz/high eventually gets a little old to me. It's the 1 thing I miss about being about to afford the frosty buds from my hook up on a regular basis.

Just a quick update. Fed my babies yesterday with 1/8 tsp of superthrive, 1/8 tsp bio grow and just the slightest couple of drops of bio weed. And this morning they sure seemed to have loved every drop of food just by how they look to be close to an inch taller since yesterday.

That's awesome :). I'll be watching your grow, I <3 organics too. Going to brew tea on the next grow instead of using Fox Farm. Subbed!

Cool and thanks for subbing. I've put a little thought into doing compost teas but have never had the money and available space. I know it's a simple enough process though I tend to have a pretty active life and tend to stop in long enough to fix any problems and/or water/feed. Since having lost my only job of +8 years about 6 months ago I've become more busy than when I was at my other job lol but I can't complain

Try enclosing your cloning box some kind of clear plastic to trap the moisture inside. and make sure you cut your clone in a diagonal fashion. and always USE STERILE cutting instrument.
there are a couple cheap home-made cloning enclosures I've seen on RIU, just search and elaborate off their ideas.
hope that helps.
happy growing =)

Last week I cut the OD and now that I've seen all the crazy growth in response I up and decided to FIM the KG. But that's not all I did. I also got out the 3/16 rope out and began to LST them both as well.

On a similar but different subject, I wanted to share with ya'll my outdoor garden. The larger plants are heirloom lemon boy and yellow pear tomatos along with habanero and jalapeno peppers. The smaller tomatos on the porch are also heirloom roma and cherry along with the tiniest 1 just said it was a hybrid but not genetically modified yet no name of what kind it is. Just to expect 3-4'' round fruits when plant is mature. Everything else on the table is flowers and succulents.

Everything gets the same good soil and nutes as the maryjane which I found helps out a lot when I encounter problems knowing everything's receiving the same stuff. I learn how 1 plant responds vs others under same conditions.

Sorry for the delay, having just moved I'm so busy dealing with "house" stuff and getting settled in. The 2 girls were just transplanted today but forgot to take a fresh pic. They both began getting root bound and the stress is slightly visible on some fan leafs. I should be kicking them into flower in about 2-3 weeks. Then you'll be able to see my conversion dresser in full action
