container size!!

I don't think so unless you are going to veg for less than a week. I think the rule of thumb is one gal per foot of plant.

So whats an ideal container size for 4 plants in a garden that mesures 2 1/2' , 4' , 7' . plan on vegging for about 45 day then 8 to 10 weeks flowering. The grow below was done with 5 liter pots.

Some plants don't seem to mind the small pots. A friend of mine uses 2 gallon pots, and he even doubles up two plants to one pot, and he gets outstanding production with his 400 HPS. Some strains like bigger pots. Some don't care too much as long as they get the nutrients they need.

2 gallon pots are to small for how long they will be growing. At least get 3 gallon pots, the rule of thumb is a gallon for every month its growing.
